29 Em Questão, Porto Alegre, v. 16, n. 1, p. 29 - 44, jan./jun. 2010.

Outreach Program

Object Connections Outreach: Hudson River PanoramaExperience this dynamic lesson covering 400 years of history, art, and culture along the Hudson River, delivered by a museum educator who will visit your school if locat-ed within 40 miles of Albany, or connect via videoconference technology. Touchable object reproductions will be shipped or brought to your school for the hands-on com-ponent of the lesson, bringing all the excitement of a museum visit to your classroom and engaging students in the study of history. Call 463-4478, ext.405 to see if your school qualifies for a free lesson through grant funding.

Once again the Albany Institute provided students with a once in a lifetime learning experience that appeals to all the senses!Michael O’Brien, 4th Grade teacher, carrOll hill eleMentary
