HOURS OF OPERATION 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday to Friday
Meals
Lunch is served daily at 11:30 a.m. A recommended contribution of $2.50 is requested of members per meal. The cost of a meal for all others is $5. Meal reservations and cancellations must me at least three business days in advance. A light morning sack is served to members with reservations from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Monday to Friday.
Membership
An annual membership is $20 for Phoenix residents and $40 for non-residents. Membership gives you access to all 15 Phoenix senior centers.
Shuttle Program
MV Transportation provides flexible taxi service to and from the senior center for $1 each way. Please contact center staff to register and obtain more detailed information.
Casework Assistance
Casework services are available to center members by appointment only. Please see center staff to set up an appointment.
The South Mountain Senior Center is an
activity center for adults and seniors
situated in the heart of south Phoenix.
We are located just east of Central on
Alta Vista. The center hosts a variety of
free programs and informational classes
for your health and fitness needs. If you
enjoy being outdoors, let’s take a stroll in
the park or lend a helping hand in our
beautiful green garden!

Programs for Active Adults/Seniors
South Mountain on the GO! Trips will be made available for registration the second Monday of the prior month.
Trip reservations are on a first come first served basis.
Transportation per trip is $2 unless a waiver is present on members Taxi Shuttle card. Fee will be collected the day of trip.
All members are responsible for funding any and all concurred costs of the trip, including tickets/entry, pur-chased goods, and food.
