Imperials neighbours include the Royal Albert Hall, in which we hold

our graduation ceremonies each year. The historic building hosts

over 350 events annually and showcases some of the worlds

leading artists from several performance genres.

Wembley Stadium is the second largest stadium in Europe. The

90,000-capacity venue is home to the England football team and

welcomes some of the biggest names in sport and music.

London is the greenest city of its size in the world with green space covering almost 40%. Richmond Park is one of the largest open spaces in London, covering an area of 2,500 acres. The park is home to 650 deer.

LONDON: A CITY LIKE NO OTHERfor anyone seriously considering a future in business, london should be your first choice. selecting a london-based university means choosing to study in the business capital of europe, enabling you to take advantage of londons corporate and financial power, and to forge strong professional relationships that will benefit you for a lifetime. it is no coincidence that london is a base for most global players in finance, consulting, it and professional services.

Imperial is located in South Kensington, one of the most fashionable, vibrant and cosmopolitan parts of London. It is one of the worlds most important cultural centres, often being referred to as Londons museum district with the Natural History Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum and the Science Museum all located nearby.

We also enjoy close proximity to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, one of the greatest city parks in the world and our very own neighbourhood garden. If you are looking for urban chic or city bustle, the fabulous stores of Kensington High Street and Knightsbridge or perhaps some of the best restaurants and bars in the city, then they are all just down the road from Imperial.

Soho is a district of central London, part of the West End, which attracts a wide mix of people and is a great

place to find live entertainment, exceptional food and pulsing

nightlife. The West End is often known as Londons Theatreland.

The City of London is composed almost entirely of financial service companies and is within easy reach of South Kensington by public transport. The Gherkin is a skyscraper which has become an iconic symbol of London and the business district.

London has hosted the Olympic Games three times more than any other city in the world. The Olympic Stadium was constructed to serve as the host stadium for the 2012 Summer Olympics and will become the home of West Ham United Football Club in 2016.

Canary Wharf is a major business district and one of Londons two main financial centres (along with the City of London) and contains many of the UKs tallest buildings, including the Canary Wharf Tower.

Visitors to Londons South Bank can find everything from theatre, exhibitions and free events to festivals, drinking and dining. A stroll along the South Bank offers amazing views of the London Eye, the River Thames, Tower Bridge, Westminster Palace and Big Ben.
