8.00 Departure to Hendaye (“Côte basque”) 10-11.30 Visit of the chateau Abbadia.

Architecture 11.30 Travelling along the sea coast to Biarritz.

Picnic in Biarritz 13.00-15.00 Rally in Biarritz in mixed nationalities teams

15.30 Departure to Labastide Clairence

Sight-seeing around a typical Basque village Arts and crafts.

The end of the students’ programme around 19.30.

Teachers: dinner up to the guests.

Wednesday 8th Oct.

Students: bring your guest to school at 8hPlease provide your guest with packed lunch for the day and make sure that they take their swimming suits.

8.30 Departure to Billère

9.00-12.30 old “abattoirs” ( slaughterhouse) Visit of “Bel Ordinaire”: building dedicated to contemporary and modern art. Visit of “Ampli”: place dedicated to electronic and amplified music. cine-concert with a young artist, Michael Bentz

12.30 Departure to Pau (“eaux vives” stadium) Picnic

Rafting

Around 15.30: end of students’ programme

Teachers: Visit of a winery in Jurançon and diner in Pau.

Thursday 8th Oct.

Art and sciences:

Music

Students: bring your guest to school at 8.00

8.30-11.30 Work in mixed nationalities teams. Make a string instrument with recycle materials. (physics lab) Frequencies of wind instruments. (physics lab) The golden ratio. (Maths lab)

11:30-12:30 Lunch at school canteen

Afternoon in Pau’s music high school (Conservatory). Presentation of the school by the director Music performances connected with the morning work by teachers of the conservatory. Concert by some students of the conservatory.

Around 16.00 end of the students’ program

Teachers: dinner at school with headmaster and some French colleagues.

Friday 10th Oct.

Students: bring your guest to school at 8.00

8.00-10.00 How to become an architect in France. (PWP French students) How to become a restorer in France. (PWP French students) Presentation of his work by an architect.

10.00-12.00: Picasso exhibition and group work in the “musée des Beaux arts” (1st group)

Chateau de Pau Visit of the “chateau de Pau” (2nd group)

12.00 official reception in Pau’s city hall.
