This Programme of Studies states the subjects foreach Grade. lists the approved textbooks, and, in somecases in the high school grades, provides course outlinesfor the teacher to follow.

The pamphlet entitled AIMS OF PUBLIC EDUCA­TION FOR NEWFOUNDLAND, the teaching Guidesand supplementary bulletins are all designed to assist theteacher to provide a curriculum that will meet the needs01 individual pupils and be adaptable to the varied class­room situations of the Province.
