At “Story-telling by Candlelight”, the narrator, Alicia Acosta, invites you to travel into a marvellous world of stories for adults. Original music and dancing specifically with an Arabic-Moroc-can background. Shaabi, Jazz, Gnawi, Reggae, Arabic rhythms, African and Caribbean cultures mix with exotic melodies, but at the same time smoothly blend with the tones of Arab music. Powerful, blunt and penetrating music invades the space.

Muluk Gnawa will parade through the streets of the Barribarto every day, between 20:00h and Midnight.

On the other hand, Victoria Ivanova will surprise you by her walk through the areas of the festival, her incredible swaggering belly dance will leave you speechless.

The special illumination of the San Antonia de Padua church is one of the main attractions of the festival and has taken place from the first festival in 2006. Every day, from 10pm a crowded church square will be witness to how the façade of the church can be transformed into a syna-gogue, a mosque, forms of reflections, figures and messages in different languages and scripts.

An incredible visual spectacle in an incomparable setting, which can be enjoyed while participating in the Tapas Route or simply strolling around the streets of Frigiliana.

After midnight on July 23, 1548, the Moriscos of Frigi-liana, went down the hills with all their belongings towards the beach of Burriana of Nerja ready to leave their town. They were about to embark on the start a trip that would permit them to earn their longed-for freedom in North Africa. They did not know that a sad and dramatic destiny awaited them"

La Cabalgada de Frigiliana is a true and fascinating episode of the history of the town and of its inhabitants. La Casa del Apero will be the scene of the theatrical performance in which the facts are told and the different characters, who participated in that moment in history, are interpreted.

Sofía, a Young university student, starts her thesis with the intention of discovering the history of her region, Andalucía. Intuitively and sensitively, she embarks on a journey that leads to an evocation of the silence shefinds in the ruins and historical places and to hidden revelations that she discovers in conversations with experts on the subject.

Reality and fiction are found both in the staging of the film and in the universe within which its protagonist is immersed, where the value of doubt is as decisive as self-knowledge. A reflective work that brings

together the debate about memory and the value of the identity of people in a globalized society.

Limam Boisha, a Saharawi poet who lives in Madrid, confesses that he has been "dry of the Sahara" and travels to the Western Sahara to recover his inspiration for verses. There, Hamida Abdulláh tells the story ofthe trip that they made with the Belgian philosopher Mohamed Salem and the poet Bonnana Busseid, to Leyuad, the central identity of the Saharawi people. A long and hard journey with an ambition: to reach Leyuad, in the heart of the Tiris, the ancestral Land of the Men of the Book, the well of verses and of poetry. The journey sets aside the cruelty of the desert, to become a poetic and emotional journey.

In Leyuad, the poet Sidi Brahim who awaits in his jaima, shows them the miracles of a unique place and immerses them within the secrets of the geniuses of the desert, of those "who cannot be named".

Two children are raised in France as brothers. One is rich and the other is the son of the familys nurse. During the trip, a wave causes him to fall from a boat, finally he arrives at a beach in an unknown country, where he barely recognizes the stories told him by his nurse and from where he must flee its inhabitants, who reject him because of the so-called "curse of The blue eyes”
