Dear Colleagues,
It gives me great pleasure to extend a warm invitation to the 25th Annual Conference of Indian College of Cardiology – ICCCON 2018 from 14th to 16th September 2018 at Hotel The Lalit, New Delhi.
In this era of explosion of technology and fast changing practice patterns this Conference will bring together scientists and specialists from India and abroad who will exchange their valuable views in the context of evidence based cardiovascular medicine and also provide a great opportunity to understand each other's culture, social behavior and to make long lasting professional friendship. This will go a long way in building a stronger and healthier cardiology scenario in India. The ground realities of cardiovascular practice and the cost effective management without diluting the quality of care is the need of the hour in our country with strained resources. Prevention to intervention shall be the slogan. We expect this conference will definitely help you to better individual skills and to improve outcome of various cardiac procedures. Weather will be pleasant in the month of September and attending this cardiology congress will be useful and enjoyable.
“Great Learning comes from Experience; Experience comes through mistakes and bad decisions”. Decision Making is more important than actually performing the procedure and surgical skills.

Delhi, also known as the National Capital Territory of India is a
metropolitan region in India. With a population of 22 million in 2011, it is
the world's second most populous city and the largest city in India in
terms of area. The NCR includes the neighbouring cities of Gurgaon,
Sonepat, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida, Meerut, Panipat,
Rewari and other nearby towns,
and has nearly 22.2 million
residents.
A union territory, the political
administration of the NCT of Delhi
today more closely resembles that
of a state of India, with its own legislature, high court and an executive council of ministers
headed by a Chief Minister. New Delhi is jointly administered by the federal government of India
and the local government of Delhi, and is the capital of the NCT of Delhi. Delhi is India's only city-
state.
Delhi has been continuously inhabited since the 6th century BC. Through most of its history,
Delhi has served as a capital of various kingdoms and empires. It has been captured, ransacked and rebuilt several times, particularly
during the medieval period, and the modern Delhi is a cluster of a number of cities spread across the metropolitan region. This is why
Delhi is sometimes called the City of cities.
