Programmable Logic Control Technology | AMG KZN

The PLC is most cost effective control method, operating at 24Vdc and the signals sent from

the PLC is also 24Vdc. We used 24Vdc LED boards in order to use the PLC signals to provide

light.

Each linear is broken up into boards that are 100mm sections.

• Each board receives its own signal cable back to the control panel.

• This is done to individually control each 100mm section.

The PLC is fully adjustable. The client can decide on:

1. The pattern

2. The speed

3. The direction

4. The timeframe

5. Programming/re-programming a new sequence.

How each 100mm board is wired

The PLC is then programmed to give each board a signal at a specific time,

instruct the direction of the motion and the speed of the pattern.
