vide Memorandum No. Resolution / Syn-40/item-3 & Subsequent

Reference orders No. DUHS/Reg./2011/-698 Dated 1st.

March2011 The “Dow Institute of Haematology, Oncology,Tissue

Typing & Transfusion Medicine” (DIH) has been established in the

premises of Ojha Campus. Subsequently the name of DIH changed

into Dr. Ishratul Ebad Khan Institute of Blood Diseases(DIEKIBD),

vide Notice # DUHS/Rg./2013/-347Dated09-02-2013 & Letter #

DUHS/Reg./2013/432, Dated 20th- 02-2013.

DIEKIBD. is emerging as a center of excellence in Haematology & related Health Care Management, Research and Diagnostics. With the scenario of very a sound background, this Institute isalso involved in Postgraduate Teaching, Training & Research programs, which are recognized by PM,DC. & HEC. Curriculum based with progress like:• PhD. Haematology indigenous Program,• MPhil. leading to PhD Haematology (3 candidates have been awarded MPhil. Degree, 3 candidates have submitted their Thesis. From the 3rd. batch all the 3 candidates are in the process of submitting their Synopsis), • MS. Blood Transfusion, Tissue Typing & Bone marrow Transplantation (2 years, Semester based Course.• Master of Dental Surgery (Oral Pathology) & BS Clinical pathology.
