AgingFinance 2020 - Creating Societal Readiness

We are happy to inform you about the global inaugural AgingFinance conference in

Singapore on 24-25 September 2020.

Why a Global Platform AgingFinance?

Leading economies are being confronted with a massive funding gap of US$ 16 trillion in

2050 to ensure a lifetime financial support for their aging populations. If public policies and

individual behaviors do not change, many countries’ pension systems will face a severe

crisis, threatening either unaffordable public expenditure or inadequate incomes for

retirees. We do have to reform our antiquated pension and retirement systems in the midst

of times with smaller projected returns and an era of low interest rates next to swift

changes in demographics. Lifetime financial security also depends on the availability of

public health, housing and transportation services, as well as on informal community and

family support.

An effective mixture of policies will be needed to tackle the problems we will face.

AgingFinance is key global platform where policy makers, key stakeholders, experts and

solution providers from around the world (from both Developed and Emerging Economies)

join to break down the ‘present silos’ and share global best-practices, innovation and

lessons learned on key topics such as pension reform, working longer, stimulating higher

individual savings, managing healthcare cost, elderly care and the role of the community,

managing financial contracts & effective personal financial planning, housing & mortgage,

harmonization of income policies and tax reform, creating an (more) efficient asset

management and administration of pension reserves, and more.

The AgingFinance Program

At this stage we are working on the draft program-skeleton. We will offer two days of

sharing deep insights on relevant topics as we will stimulate debate amongst the

international experts and stakeholders present. All around aging issues and the impact of

its financial consequences. Looking for a new and consistent structure for our societies.

We are building the best program along the lines of relevant topics of building blocks. (See

our list.) In that way our program is a ‘living document’ that will be updates regularly!

We would be happy to discuss with you these building blocks and discuss possible program

involvement as speaker and/or contributor of relevant expertise. We also offer limited

sponsor opportunities to support this unique initiative. Our focus and priority is offering

top quality content and relevant networking conditions amongst global experts,

professionals and stakeholders. The program content is 100 % commercial free.
