The engineering and construction industry has been on quite a journey during the past decade. There are many factors that will come into play as our industry moves forward into 2018 and beyond. These include new technology being used in the industry, accounting and regulatory changes, and much more. Our conference promises to bring you insights on industry trends, challenges, and leading practices applicable to E&C companies as well as provide unique opportunities to network with your industry peers.

Federalandstatetaxjurisdictionsofferanumberoftaxcreditsandincentivesthatengineeringandconstruction(E&C)firmscanusetoreduceenvironmentaltaxreform(ETR),providecashbenefits,andsupportgrowth.Thissessionwillfocusonrecentdevelopmentsspecificto the E&C community and the available federal and state credits and incentives such as the foreign derived intangible income (FDII) deduction that provides taxpayers the potential for an up to nine percent permanent ratebenefit,researchanddevelopmenttaxcredits,employeeretentioncredits under the Hurricane Relief Act, family and medical leave act (FMLA) credits, work opportunity tax credits (WOTC), and other hiring and training grants and incentives.
