Watching Mary Martin in the “live” broadcast of Peter Pan is one of my earliest and most

vivid childhood memories. Seeing her recreate moments from that show “live” onstage in

concert a few years later changed my life forever.I have always believed in the power of the theatre to enrich and even change our lives. I

don’t think I have ever felt that as strongly as I did that magical afternoon when I watched

Mary as Peter Pan soar high above the stage of Music Hall. At that tender age, I really

had no idea what a Broadway musical was. All I knew at that moment was that this was

incredibly exciting and fulfilling and somehow, I wanted to be a part of it.

And, so began my extraordinary journey into the world of musical theatre.

Ever since that afternoon, I have spent as much time as possible either creating or seeing

as much theatre as I could. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to direct dozens of

shows — big shows, little shows, new shows, old shows, cult hits and audience favorites.

Through it all, this show has continued to hold a very special place in my heart. So it is

enormously gratifying, for me, to finally come full circle and be able to direct a production

of the show that started it all for me.It would be remiss of me if I didn’t take a moment to thank two very special people without

whom this production wouldn’t have been possible.First, to the incomparable Mary Martin, for introducing me to the magic of musical theatre

and who continued to enchant me throughout her career. I was fortunate enough to see

her give memorable performances in a number of shows over the years but she will always

be Peter Pan to me. Thank you, Miss Martin, for teaching me “to believe.” My heart will

always belong to Mary.And “thank you” to the extraordinary Richard Oberacker for his love and support and for his

generosity that literally gave flight to my dream. Thanks for believing in me all these years.

JOSHUA STEELE (Peter Pan) is honored to make his CMT debut with Skip Fenker and Peter Pan. Recent credits include Yes, Virginia (Cincinnati Pops), The House of Yes (Untethered Theatre), The Odd Couple (Showboat Majestic) and Cinderella (The Covedale). Joshua has also performed with the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, the Cincinnati Opera and the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, and can be seen this summer in the Commonwealth Theatre Company production of Route 66. He serves as Managing Director of Theatre at The Carnegie, and teaches voice for NKU. Love to Brooke and Daphne.

WAYNE WRIGHT (Mr. Darling / Captain Hook) is happy to be back at CMT in this production, and having aged out of being able to fly, he is thrilled to be playing the part of Hook. He has appeared in many CMT productions including Sunset Blvd, The Drowsy Chaperone, Curtains, La Cage, Chicago, as well as many productions for other groups in the area. He would like to dedicate this performance to his grandparents, who taught him not only to fly but to soar using imagination and the belief that it can be done, and with a good oatmeal cookie for starters, anything is possible.

LAURA K. WACKSMAN (Wendy Darling) is appearing in her second show with CMT and could not be more thrilled to be a part of this production of Peter Pan. You may have seen her last as Kate Murphy in CMT’s Titanic. Some of her favorite roles include Maria in West Side Story, Lily in The Secret Garden, and Eileen in I Love a Piano. This has been such a wonderful cast and crew to work with and such a beautiful story to bring to life. I hope everyone enjoys the show!

KIM LONG (Mrs. Darling) is in her second CMT show, having played Mary in Sunset Boulevard last year. A BGSU theatre graduate, recent credits include Petra in Mariemont Players’ A Little Night Music, Mrs. Harcourt in Anything Goes with The Footlighters, and the cryptic Light-Haired Woman in the upcoming indie flick, The Passion of Paul Ross. Heartfelt thanks to her loving family and dear friends, mentors and directors for their support and inspiration. Being part of this awfully big adventure, together with her son, is a joy she will always cherish.

JONATHAN KUTCHER (John Darling) is a Freshman at Princeton High School, where he has already performed in several shows, including Oedipus, Almost Maine, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. This is his first production with CMT. He trains with Circus Mojo in Ludlow KY, where he juggles, performs on the aerial silks, the rolling globe, the rola bola, hula hooping, and partner acrobatics. He plans to continue in the theater, majoring in drama or musical theater in college.

LEO LONG (Michael Darling) is ecstatic to be making his theatrical debut in Peter Pan. A nine-year-old third-grader at at Sands Montessori, he is active in gymnastics and also enjoys taking piano lessons. When asked what else the audience ought to know about him, he wanted to thank Skip & Company for this fantastic opportunity, and to mention that in his spare time he enjoys playing all kinds of games and spending time with his family and his dogs, and to specify that he is a carnivore.

BILL GERAGHTY (Smee) is excited to be an actor playing Smee for CMT at the Aronoff. You know, the art of acting first originated in Greece in the 6th century BC; with the Greek tragic actor Thespis being widely regarded as the first actor. This is why actors are often referred to as “thespians.” The Greek philosopher, Aristotle, defined acting as “the right management of the voice to express various emotions” and declared it to be an innate talent. Many thanks to Cliff Clavin for the bio inspiration, and to Skip for allowing me to play a part in your dream.

AUBREY WILSON (Tiger Lily) is excited to be returning to the Jarson Kaplan in CMT’s production of Peter Pan! Previous credits include The Great American Trailer Park (Pippi), Blood Brothers (Linda) and Spring Awakening (Martha). She’d like to say thank you to Skip and the production team for taking the chance on her and giving her the opportunity to work with this talented cast and crew. And thank you to her family and true friends for their constant support, love, and unending belief that she could do anything she set her mind to. Enjoy the show!

ANNA VERDERBER (Jane) is excited to make her CMT debut. Recent credits include The Little Mermaid Jr. (The Children’s Theatre of Mason); Annie (Beechmont Players); and The Magician’s Nephew (The Village Players). She also played Jasmine from Aladdin Kids Jr. in her school’s musical. This year, she made her debut in A Christmas Carol (Martha Cratchit) at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, and she has acted in short films/PSAs including Be The Match and Descent of a Superstar. Hugs and kisses to the cast and crew for this marvelous adventure!

TARA WILLIAMS (Grown-Up Wendy) is excited to be working with CMT for the first time and so pleased to work with Josh and Wayne! Originally from Chicago, Tara has been seen on stages from the Midwest to Florida. Favorite roles include, Annie Sullivan in The Miracle Worker, Blanche in Brighton Beach Memoirs and Broadway Bound and The Stage Manager in Our Town. While in Orlando, she worked at Universal Studios and performed 19 comical characters at Sleuth’s Mystery Dinner Theatre. Tara holds a BFA in acting from Northern Illinois University.

JILLIAN SCHWAB (Neverbird) is pleased to return to the stage to share in this production with such talents. She was last featured as an Angel in Anything Goes (Footlighters), Dream Laurey in Oklahoma (Brieabi), Sunset Boulevard (CMT), Legally Blonde (Brieabi) & The Producers (Footlighters). Professionally, She has performed full repertoires including soloists roles with Cincinnati Ballet, Sarasota Ballet of Florida and Pacific Northwest Ballet. She would like to thank her family, co-workers, friends, vocal coach and especially her dog, Tootsie for their support.

WESSTIN BIN (Indian) is proud to be a part of Peter Pan. Wesstin lives in Cincinnati with her family and attends Fairfield Middle School. She’s in eighth grade and is taking piano and voice lessons at WCAOMD.com. She plays soccer for TFA Elite. She is a signed talent with MTM Cincinnati and is also signed with FunnyFace Today, Inc. in NYC. Wesstin would like to thank her family for their love and support. KARL BOLINGER (Scourie) returned to the stage after a long hiatus in UCT’s The Sound of Music. He then performed in his favorite musical of all time as Foreman/Claquesous/Ens. in Brieabi’s Les Misérables. He’s excited about his first show with CMT. He would like to thank Skip for giving him this opportunity, the rest of the team/cast/crew for making it an amazing experience, family/friends for your love & support, and all of the students at First Church that he’s done life with over the last 10+ years for blessing him in innumerable ways. Here’s to the road ahead!

OLAF EIDE (Indian) is an 18 year-old senior at The School for Creative and Performing Arts. He plans to attend the Shenandoah Conservatory at Shenandoah University to study musical theatre. Past credits: R.U.R (Harry Domin), Scream Acres Ct. (Company member), Der Rosenkavalier (Various Super; Cincinnati Opera Company) Rabbit Hole (Howie Corbett), The Magical Adventures of Merlin (Merlin), Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Raised in Captivity (Dylan Sinclair), The Madwoman of Chaillot, Brigadoon, And the World Goes ‘Round, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Chicago.

BRANDON FOX (Indian) is ecstatic to be back at the Aronoff with his 5th CMT production. He has been seen on this stage in The Music Man, Sunset Boulevard, and The Drowsy Chaperone (Robert Martin). Some recent credits include Footlighters’ Godspell (Jesus) and Falcon Theatre’s The Story Of My Life (Alvin Kelby). Brandon is an award-winning actor for his performance in Columbus Children’s Theatre’s The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe (Mr. Tumnus). He thanks everyone who supports him and hopes you never forget how to pretend!

CHRISTINA GABRIELLE SAG/AFTRA (Indian) began as a Child actor, performing in theatre, films, television, and commercials. She appeared in projects such as The Little Fockers, Secretariat, Bad Teacher, Criminal Minds and many more. On stage she has performed in Annie, Cheaper by the Dozen, Laugh Lines, and Clue. She is enrolled at the School for the Creative & Performing Arts and currently training at College-Conservatory of Music Preparatory Department in Drama, Vocal, and Dance. This is Christina’s first production at CMT and she can’t wait for the next one!

TRINITY GIBSON (Indian) is a third grader at the School for Creative and Performing Arts. She is thrilled to make her stage debut as an Indian with Cincinnati Music Theatre. Trinity is studying vocal music, tap and musical theatre dance at CCM Preparatory. This summer she will continue to craft her musical theatre skills at the Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati STAR Camp. Trinity would like to thank her parents, grandmother, big brother and family for all of their love and support.

JOSH GALLOWAY (Curly) is thrilled to make his debut with Cincinnati Music Theatre in the role of Curly. He has previously appeared on stage in Willy Wonka Jr. (Augustus Gloop) with The Childrens Theatre of Cincinnati, The Grunch (Rudy Grunch) with Kids on Stage, It’s a Wonderful Life (Peter Bailey), Seussical the Musical (JoJo) and The Sound of Music (Kurt von Trapp) with Union Community Theatre, and Mulan, Jr. (Yao) and The Little Mermaid (Sebastian) at Gray Middle School, where he is an 8th grader.

YENNY HO (Indian) Is thrilled to be returning to the CMT stage. Previous credits include A Chorus Line (CMT) and West Side Story (Footlighters). Having a career in engineering while active in performing arts, Yenny is living proof that scientists can have fun. She thanks her son CS for teaching her to live in the moment each day, her Honey for reminding her that we were all created for greatness, and her mom, family and friends for their loving support and encouragement. The God spark of greatness lies in each one of us. It’s up to us to make it shine!

MATT KROGER (Cecco) is excited for his debut performance with CMT in his role as Cecco. His past credits include: Walker Harris in Two Rooms, A Midwinter’s Tale, Footloose, and Guys and Dolls. He enjoys writing software (which he’s lucky enough to get paid for), playing guitar, sidewalk philosophizing, and volunteering at his church. He’d like to thank his wife, Mariah, and his three beautiful daughters for giving him up so many nights over the last several months.

LIZZIE LOTTERER (Indian) is a sophomore at Ursuline Academy and is very excited to be an Indian in CMT’s production of Peter Pan. She was most recently seen as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, Charlotte Lucas in Pride and Prejudice, Sylvia in Caught in the Act, pig 3 in Shrek the Musical, and girl 3 in Anything Goes. Lizzie would like to thank her amazing parents and sisters, her friends, Skip, Cathy, and her fellow cast mates. She hopes you enjoy the show!

NATHAN MAUE (Rufio) is excited to be involved in his first production with Cincinnati Music Theatre. Nathan is currently in his sophomore year at Badin High School in Hamilton, Ohio. He has been involved in theatre since sixth grade and has participated in many productions including Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, The Hobbit, Suessical, Honk, and The Music Man; he recently completed his final performance of Fiddler on the Roof at Badin. Nathan thanks his mom and his friends, especially his new CMT friends, for their love and support.

LOGAN McGILL (1st Twin) is a 6th grader at the Cincinnati Waldorf School. He has performed in his class play every year and has been cast in esteemed roles such as, Emperor Nero in Roma Amor written by Eugene Schwartz. Logan was also a member of the Cincinnati Boy choir in 2012-2013. He is very excited to be a part of this wonderful production of Peter Pan as Twin 1 of the lost boys. Fun fact — Logan actually IS a 1st born twin! Besides his obvious love for theatre, Logan enjoys playing soccer and reading.

ELIJAH JOHN MONTGOMERY (Cookson) is a graduating senior of the School for the Creative and Performing Arts, and prides himself on being in the Musical Theatre program at his school. He is trained on an average school day by Drew and Leah Lachey, as well as Dee Ann Bryll. CMT’s production of Peter Pan is his first show outside of high school and he feels honored to be a part playing the part of a swashbuckling, yet humorous pirate. Elijah plans to use his theatre talent in the future as a career.

LINDSEY MORGAN (Indian) is thrilled to be involved in her third CMT show, previously seen in the cast of Sunset Blvd and crew of A Chorus Line. She can be seen next as Rosalind in Moon Over Buffalo with Paradise Players. She has acted, directed and choreographed in many local and professional shows; favorites including RENT, Carrie, Legally Blonde and Godspell. She’s also the Artistic Director for Union Community Theatre. She’d like to thank Skip, Mike and Kendra for bringing her into this adventure, and her love, Steffen. www.lindseymorganactress.com

TOM MORRIS (Starkey) (hailing from parts unknown) is appearing in the role of Starkey the pirate. A world renowned actor, singer/songwriter, pilot, author, chef, software engineer, comedian, hockey goalie, and much more, he is best known locally for being an APW tag team pro-wrestling champion and for being a disappointment to his parents. He does not understand a word of English. This is Tom’s first show with CMT, but he is excited to work with such a great company and to have the chance to show his skills, especially writing bios limited to only 550 cha

CONOR MULLIN (Binky) is excited to play the role of a Lost Boy in Peter Pan, his debut performance with CMT. Conor is currently a 5th grader at Wilson Elementary in Anderson Township, where he is active in Chorus. Previously, he played The Grinch in The Grinch Who Stole Christmas at Guardian Angels School. In his free time, Conor enjoys gymnastics and spending time with friends and family. Conor would like to thank CMT for allowing him to be a part of his first community theater experience.

ELI PRATHER (Slighty) is honored to be working with the cast & crew of Peter Pan in his debut with CMT. His previous roles include Friedrich von Trapp in The Sound of Music at the Carnegie in Covington; Fizzy in CEMS’ Bugsy Malone, as well as Digory in The Magician’s Nephew with The Village Players; and a 3 year run as Amahl in Menotti’s Amahl and the Night Visitors with The Schubert Boy’s Choir. In 2013, Eli participated in TCTC STAR Program and traveled to Dallas to perform as a member of the National Honor Choir. Eli says to Think Happy Thoughts and Soar Amongst the Stars.

ERIC RAKESTRAW (2nd Twin) is a home schooled 4th grader who is thrilled to be in his very first CMT production! He has previously performed in Jungle Book Kids (King Louie), Flat Stanley (Stanley) and Cinderelly and the Beautiful Banditas (Ace), and off the stage enjoys soccer, basketball, and baseball. He would like to thank his family for their love and support and his Destination Imagination team for encouraging him to create fun characters while exploring his love of performing. Thank you to the production staff at CMT for this amazing trip to Neverland!

WESLEY SCHMIDT (Nibs) is excited to be making his CMT debut in Peter Pan. Recent productions include Annie Get Your Gun (Little Jake) Holy Cross High School, Les Misérables (Gavroche) Brieabi, and The Grunch (Grunch/Collin) Kids on Stage. Other favorites are Cinderella Kids (Gus) The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati, Annie Get Your Gun (Little Jake) Covedale, and The Secret Garden (Colin) The Village Players, receiving an ACT Orchid award for Excellence in Acting. Thanks to his Prince of Peace school faculty, family, and friends for the unending support.

JOHN SLOAN (Mullins) is happy to back with CMT for this magical adventure! Most recently appearing in Sunset Boulevard, he has also appeared in CMT’s productions of The Music Man and HMS Pinafore. Elsewhere, he has appeared in 42nd Street (Bert Barry), Oklahoma! (Jud Fry), Guys and Dolls (Sky Masterson) and Thoroughly Modern Millie (Ching-Ho) for Loveland Stage Company; Sweeney Todd for Footlighters; and The Pirates of Penzance (Major-General Stanley) on the Showboat Majestic. Thanks to his girlfriend Carissa for her love and inspiration!

CAITLYN THIEL (Indian) is a freshman BFA Musical Theatre major at NKU and is psyched to make her debut with CMT. Some previous credits include; Tweedledee (Alice in Wonderland), Aida (Aida), Mayzie la Bird (Seussical), Marcy (25th...Spelling Bee), and Serena (Legally Blonde). Caitlyn would like to thank the cast, crew, and everyone involved for making this show amazing! She hopes you enjoy the show!

ETHAN VERDERBER (Tootles) is thrilled to make his CMT debut. Regional credits include Boy Scrooge in A Christmas Carol (2012, 2013), and Thomas in Abigail/1702 (2013) at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Mr. Verderber performed as Oliver in Oliver Twist last summer with the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. He has also acted in Be The Match (PSA), and short films including Twinks and Faceless. Ethan is finishing fourth grade at Pattison Elementary in Milford, OH. He thanks his entire CMT family, and hopes you enjoy this awfully big adventure!

RICHARD LEE WALDECK (Bill Jukes) is honored to be making his CMT debut. Richard is no stranger to the stage and has been seen in productions throughout the tri-state area. His most memorable roles include, Henry in The Fantasticks, Joseph at 17 in Blue Jacket, Drake/Greylag in Honk! and numerous others. Being killed by Peter Pan brings back memories of his summer stock theatre days, dying under the stars nightly. “To die would be an awfully big adventure.” Richard will soon be returning to school to major in Mortuary Sciences.

ROBERT WARFEL (Slank) recently appeared in A Little Night Music as Mr. Lindquist and Barefoot In the Park as the Telephone Repairman, both with Mariemont Players. He is grateful to Skip and the entire cast/crew to be Pirate Slank, an antagonist to his son who is portraying a lost boy. His son is not convinced his father was not “type cast.” Rob previously appeared in CMT’s Titanic in 2012 in multiple roles and is delighted to again have a chance to share the stage with his son. Both of them are especially thankful for their family’s love and support!

WILL WARFEL (Cubby) is excited to return to the stage with CMT as Cubby, having previously appeared two years ago in Titanic. This spring he performed with his middle school in Wizard of Oz Jr and is a regular with the middle school choir. An alum of the Cincinnati Boy Choir, he devotes his free time to guitar, piano, and Boy Scout Troop 502. He is especially thankful to Mr. Fenker and the production staff for the opportunity to share the stage with his Dad who is among Captain Hook’s Pirate crew. Thanks to his parents and family for their love and support!

DANIEL P. WILSON (Noodler) is thrilled to be performing in his first production with CMT. Daniel is a junior at New Richmond High School and is active in band, drama and musicals. His favorite roles include Mowgli in Junglebook, George in Schoolhouse Rock-Live, Jojo in Seussical the Musical, Harold Hill in The Music Man, Ugly in Honk! and most recently, Terk in Tarzan. He would like to thank his choral director, Mr. Doug Heflin, for his guidance and encouragement.

KATHY BEITING (Producer)is proud to be part of her 43rd CMT production. She’s been a cast member, a crew member, and eventually a producer or co-producer of over 20 shows including some of her favorites: Sweeney Todd, My Fair Lady, Evita, Ragtime, 42nd Street, La Cage Aux Folles, Curtains, The Drowsy Chaperone, Titanic, Hairspray and Sunset Boulevard. Kathy is retired from school counseling and enjoys tennis and reading when she’s not involved in a show. Many thanks to her husband, John, and her CMT friends for their love and loyalty.

ETHAN CHAMBERLAIN (Assistant Producer) after buildingsets, stage crewing and even being on stage for minor bit parts (H.M.S Pinafore, Music Man and Titanic: the Musical) over the last several years,is stepping forward into a new and different role as Assistant Producer for Peter Pan. Many thanks to Kathy, Skip and Kendra for their patience, support and assistance he learns the ins and outs of putting on a show as magical as Peter Pan. SKIP FENKER (Director) directed CMT’s productions of Sunset Boulevard, Hairspray, The Drowsy Chaperone, Curtains, La Cage aux Folles, Damn Yankees, Carousel, Mame and their CEA Award winning productions of Gypsy and Chicago. Around town, he has directed Sweeney Todd, And The World Goes ‘Round, Into The Woods, Side By Side By Sondheim and A New Brain for Footlighters,Inc., A Little Night Music,110 in the Shade, A Grand Night For Singing, Is There Life After High School?, Baby, Dames At Sea, I Do! I Do!, The Curious Savage and The Shadow Box for Mariemont Players; Falsettos, Closer Than Ever, Working, The 1940s Radio Hour, Barnum, Nunsense II, The Grass Harp and The Boys Next Door for Aurelia Theatricals. Along the way, he has won his fair share of awards – including a recent nod from BroadwayWorld.com - but he is most grateful for the opportunities he has had to work with a multitude of dedicated and talented theatre artists and for the enduring friendships that have come out of his work in the theatre.

KAREN SOWARDS (Assistant to the Director) took on this rolewith the travelling circus with great honor (and a good deal of insanity). When she is not on stage portraying a tap-dancing nun or a strung out hooker, Karen serves as the social chair for the CMT board. Some of her favorite roles are: Liz Livingston / Happy Hunting, Mama Rose / Gypsy, Fanny Brice / Funny Girl, and Elphaba / Wicked. One day she hopes to actually play some of them. She thanks her family, and especially Skip for allowing her to tag along on this enchanted adventure.

KENDRA STRUTHERS (Music Director) is pleased to join Skip on this trip to Neverland. Music Director for CMT’s Sunset Boulevard, Hairspray, Curtains and Gypsy and for Footlighters’ Jesus Christ Superstar and Weird Romance among others, her onstage roles include Little Buttercup in CMT’s HMS Pinafore, Woman 2 in Showbiz Players’ Songs for a New World, Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd and Lin in The Great American Trailer Park Musical (both at Footlighters.) She is VP Creative for CMT and Individual Giving Manager at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.

MIKE FIELDER (Choreographer) has long waited for this trip to Neverland (though not as long as the Original Hipster). Mike was last seen in CMT’s A Chorus Line as Larry and Brian Anderson’s personal Boswell. His round the world tour this past theatrical season has included: Sweden (A Little Night Music), Cincinnati (Striking 12), Thebes (Oedipus) and Urinetown. JILLIAN SCHWAB (Assistant Choreographer) is pleased to return to the stage to share in this production with such talents. She was last featured as an Angel in Anything Goes (Footlighters), Dream Laurey in Oklahoma (Brieabi), Sunset Boulevard (CMT), Legally Blonde (Brieabi) & The Producers (Footlighters). Professionally, She has performed full repertoires including soloists roles with Cincinnati Ballet, Sarasota Ballet of Florida and Pacific Northwest Ballet. She would like to thank her family, co-workers, friends, vocal coach and especially her dog, Tootsie for their support.

DAVE ZLATIC (Scenic Design) is thrilled to be involved in Peter Pan. With CMT, he has served in multiple roles including stage manager, lighting and set designer, and producer. Some of his favorite CMT productions include Kiss Me Kate, Chicago, Drowsy Chaperone, Beauty & the Beast, and Sunset Boulevard. Dave is the technical director and faculty for the Theatre Department at Xavier University. He would like to thank his beautiful wife, Meghan, and the new addition to their family, Maeve, for their love and support in his theatrical endeavors!

ELAINE MICHAEL (Costume Designer) is pleased to again share the show design with Cathy Ross after last season’s Sunset Boulevard. Other shows for CMT include: Hairspray, Drowsy Chaperone, Curtains, Gypsy, and Follies. Other recent projects: A 1940’s Radio Christmas Carol for Drama Workshop and Godspell for Footlighters. Elaine has won Orchid and OCTA awards for her design work. She is also an actress & just appeared on the Sunset Players stage in The Hallelujah Girls. Much love to Mike & Kaylee - thanks for letting me play!

CATHY ROSS (Costume Designer) having played a pirate a few times in operetta (Ruth, Pirates of Penzance, NKU and Footlighters), found that her time aboard ship flowed well into the assignment of dressing the scurvy pirate crew for Peter Pan. Not one for hardtack and salt pork, Catherine has decided not to sail with Captain Hook and the crew, preferring to hoist needle and thread in service of the notorious captain. Avast, me hearties!

ERIC BARDES (Lighting Designer) is, according to his publicist, Anne Wrider, “both a genius and a saint. He can do anything. People come from miles around just to be near him. You are so lucky to even bein the same state with him. But he is too humble to say all this himself. That’s why he has a publicist.”

STEVE SIMON (Sound Design) grew up in South Florida and moved to Cincinnati 19 years ago and has been involved with Community Theater since he arrived. He designed lighting for East Side Players’ The Sound of Music, Annie, Forum and Into the Woods, as well as CMT’s Cinderella, and for Loveland’s Annie Get your Gun. Other productions include Carousel, She Loves Me, The Wizard of Oz, Damn Yankees, Funny Girl, Ragtime, Big, the Musical, Fiddler on the Roof, Into the Woods, Dracula, as well as working with Beechmont Players, Loveland, Landen and local High Schools.

ALEXIA WORKMAN (Properties/ Set Décor Designer) is honored — really — to be a part of this production. Her CMT experience began in the fall of 2010 helping out backstage with Music Man. Now in her 8th production with CMT’, she is an old pro. (She now owns a glue gun and has a strange collection of sundry items shoved in a closet.) She’s not one of those people who studied theatre or has the “craft-gene.” She just loves to be part of a show helping in whatever way needed. Thank you, Skip and Kathy for welcoming me onto your team for this beloved show. It’s going to be magical!

JILL ROTHMEELER (Production Stage Manager) is excited to be back Stage Managing with CMT again. She has worked on many previous CMT show such as Hairspray, Evita, Ragtime and Chicago. She feels extremely lucky to be working with such a talented group of people - from the Cast, Crew and Production staff. Jill is very honored to be sharing this experience with all of them. RICK KRAMER (Master Carpenter) is happy to be in his 38th show with CMT! Onstage favorite roles include Harold Hill in Music Man, the title role in Sweeny Todd, and Beast in Beauty & the Beast. Rick is a winner of the CEA Best Local Actor in a Musical Award. He has designed sets and served as master carpenter, director and stage manager for many shows. A recent retiree from P&G, Rick enjoys home remodeling, traveling, leading the Cincinnati chapter of the Cappies (a high school theater recognition program) and doing even MORE theater!

JULIE BEELMAN (Master Painter) is a Jr. High School Counselor in Milford. Julie is from Saginaw, MI but has lived in Cinci for 12 yrs., and has worked on 24 CMT shows. She was Asst. Master Painter for Kiss Me Kate and 42nd Street. Julie was Master Painter for Chicago, La Cage, Hello Dolly, Beauty & the Beast, Gypsy, Curtains, Sunset Boulevard and A Chorus Line. She was Producer for Hello Dolly, Guys & Dolls and Music Man. Julie loves working backstage for CMT shows and being Secretary on CMT’s Board. She sends love to her sister, Mom and Dad.

JONN BACA (Stage Combat Consultantr) is a Certified Teacher with the Society of American Fight Directors, with over 12 years of professional experience in creating stage combat. He has taught for several colleges including NKU, Miami U, and Wright State U. He has performed and choreographed shows for such companies as Playhouse in the Park, Cincinnati Shakespeare Co., Opera Theatre of St. Louis, and Cincinnati Ballet. He would like to thank the entire cast and crew of Peter Pan for being so inviting on his first production with them.

KEVIN BURTON (Assistant Stage Manager) is excited to be working with this talented cast and crew to make Peter Pan an amazing production. This is Kevin’s eleventh CMT production with roles ranging from Producing, Stage Management and Crew. A few of his other productions include Company, Titanic, Hairspray, The Drowsy Chaperone, Curtains, and Gypsy. Kevin is also on the Board of Trustees as the Personnel Chair. JOHN BEITING (Trumpet) started in theatre in the

orchestra at Regina High School in the late ‘60s in Carnival,

Finian’s Rainbow and The Unsinkable Molly Brown, and

continued in 1986 in Nativity Players’ Music Man. This year’s

Peter Pan is John’s 42nd CMT show, starting with Brigadoon

in 1991 where he met his lovely wife, Kathy. Since then

he has performed on stage, in the orchestra, built sets as

the Master Carpenter, worked stage crew, run spotlights

and produced for CMT. John is retired after 40 years at GE

Aviation in Evendale.

BRAD BENICK (Trumpet) is a resident of Anderson

Township. He holds a Bachelor of Music and a Master of

Science from University of Cincinnati. In addition to having

multiple endorsements on LinkedIn, he has also received

the “Mayor” badge from multiple local restaurants by Yelp.

com. He is continually supported by his wife and dog, both of

which deserve to be taken out more.

KEVIN CALAVAN (Trumpet) is a freelance trumpet

player and music educator. He earned his B.A. in Music

Education and B.M. in Music Performance from Cal State

Fullerton. He also studied jazz performance for two years and

performed as trumpet soloist with the Cal State Fullerton

Jazz Ensemble. Mr. Calavan has performed on stages all over

the world, including South Korea, Prague, Slovakia, Poland,

Budapest, England, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. He

was employed with the Disneyland Resort for 4 years as 1st

Trumpet in their annual Christmas parade show.

JACKIE CRABTREE (Flute) discovered her love

of musicals in 1972 playing her first show. She is excited

to return to CMT after last year’s Sunset Boulevard debut.

She has performed for Footlighters/Stained Glass Theatre,

Landmark Productions/Showboat Majestic, Mariemont

and Beechmont Players, Brieabi Productions, NKU and XU

theatres, the Florence Community and Queen City Concert

Bands, plus schools, churches, retirement homes, and

orchestras. Jackie recently retired after teaching primary

grades for 35 years and now enjoys her favorite locale... the

orchestra pit.

JULIE DEMATTEIS (Percussion) answers

questions asked often: 1. yes, all that stuff is hers — 2. yes,

her husband is a saint 3. — no, she really does read music

— 4. no, it’s not a easy as it looks — 5. yes, she really went

to college to learn all THAT — 6. because she didn’t WANT

to play flute, that’s why! — 7. actually her parents were

very happy because it paid for her college — 8. because she

doesn’t think the audience really reads the orchestra bios —

CRAIG DOOLIN (Clarinet) has been a band director,

composer, arranger, and musicologist. As a clarinetist and

woodwind specialist, he has performed throughout the

Ohio Valley. Craig is the owner of Orpheus Music Prose, a

successful program notes company that supplies writings to

orchestras across North America. He is a co-author of A City

That Sings: Cincinnati’s Choral Tradition 1800-2012 (Orange-

Frazer Press, 2012). Craig lives in Norwood, Ohio, with his

partner, James Dreigon, and their Boston Terrier, Cosmo.

MARCELLA FARMER (Viola) is happy to be

playing viola for CMT once again. In recent years, she

has played for shows with the Loveland Stage Company,

Footlighters, Showbiz Players, Falcon Theater, Brieabi

Productions, Beechmont Players, and Acting Up. Marcella

also has played with various orchestras in the Cincinnati

area as well as in upper northeast Tennessee. On Sunday

mornings, she often may be found playing violin, viola, or

acoustic guitar at Center Pointe Christian Church in Liberty

Township.

LISA HOLT (Flute, Piccolo) will disembark in the pit for

this show despite her inability to comprehend flying sans

broom. The former Quidditch star and Potions Master, now

retired from the laboratory, has lost some of her marbles

and most of her filters in her dotage. She spends her days at

Kings Cross Station crashing into the wall at Platform 9¾,

searching for the elusive train to Neverland, and mixing her

metaphors, broken broom in hand. Are we there yet?

SARAH JOHNSONBAUGH (Trumpet) is excited

to be a part of her first CMT production. She moved to the

Cincinnati area in 2012 from Phoenix, Arizona. She was a

part of many musical groups in Phoenix including an excellent

wind ensemble, brass quintet, symphony orchestra, jazz

ensembles and any other music groups she could squeeze in.

Locally Sarah is enjoying playing in the Anderson Community

Band. When she is not playing music she is an accountant

and is currently studying/testing to obtain her Certified Public

Accounting (CPA) Certification. Her musical endeavors are

enjoyed by her very supportive husband Joel, and her two

young children Kaylee and Russel.

LAURA KLEIN (Viola) is so thrilled to be part of

this production and working with this amazing group!

Laura teaches violin and viola at NKU Prep and plays in

several groups in the Cincinnati area. Hugs to my wonderful

teacher, Marna Street, who gives me confidence and to my

WONDERFUL husband, Malcolm, who has supported me

throughout this journey.

FRED MARTENS (Clarinet) is normally a reed

doubler, but is thrilled to just have to bring one horn for

Peter Pan. In musicals, doubling has evolved where 3, 4, or

5 instruments are required. Hiring 4 or 5 “reed doublers” is

more cost-effective to the production than hiring numerous

players. Fred’s favorite performances tend to be in small

ensembles, which include Last Five Years w/Falcon, A Little

Night Music w/ Mariemont Players, and Ragtime w/ Xavier

ROGER ORTH (aka Roger Trombone) has escaped

from Neverland and found himself in the pit again. This is

unfortunate. If you see him attempting to fly, give him a

gentle nudge skyward and hope for the best. You really don’t

want him hanging around for too long. I mean honestly, who

really wants to hear plumbing noises these days? (Answer:

Plumbers. Come on, that was an easy one.) Roger

is frightened of ring tones, crocodiles, and punctuality, so

Act 2 may be too overwhelming for him. Try to enjoy the

show despite his unnecessary sound effects.

ELISABETH ROEPER (Violin) has been involved

in musical theatre for 26 years. She has had various roles in

the chorus, supporting and leads with the most favorite being

Sarah Browne in Guys & Dolls, Fiona in Brigadoon

and Irene Molloy in Hello Dolly. Elisabeth is from

England and has been living in Ohio for 4 years. She

obtained a music degree in performance and musical

directed youth theatre and also been a vocal coach

for theatre. She has played violin for 20 years and

very much looking forward for playing the violin for

this wonderful show!

BRIAN THEIS (Bassoon) is a recent graduate

of Northern Kentucky University, where he studied

general music with a focus on bassoon and piano.

CHARLIE WILHELM (French Horn) is

also the CMT Equipment Chair, and involved in set

construction. The Horn is the official name of the

instrument. Developed in Germany, the English loved

the instruments that were produced by the French

and so the name stuck as the French Horn.
