Problem solving in the fields of: exploration, control over high-viscosity oil deposit development and high-viscosity oil deposit and natural bitumen development, effective catalysts for oil processing and petrochemistry

ATTRACTION OF TALENTED UNIVERSITY ENTRANTS

It is planned to rearrange the admission structure so as to increase the share of international students in the University from 3% to 15-20% by 2020 owing to: University entrants from China, Central

Asia, Oriental and developed countries, No admission to Specialist Training

programs, Expansion of admission to Master’s

Degree and Post-Graduate Training programs.

Current projects: “Children’s University”, “Small University”, Lobachevsky lyceum, IT lyceum (with its own new campus), “Talent Development Laboratory”, “InteLLeto” intellectual camp, summer subject-oriented school – “Quant” camp

Admission quality is planned to be improved owing to: unique academic programs offered, introduction of modern academic programs and technologies, global upgrading of equipment and laboratory base, teaching in the English language, invitation of leading Russian and foreign professors to teach in KFU, comfortable conditions for: residing in the Universiade village, sports, high-quality medical

assistance, organization of cultural entertainment.
