Inspired by the Southern Hemisphere, beachwear brands have almost completely liberated floral patterns and transformed them into larger sizes, creating a more tropical look to encompass all cultures under the sun. These patterns have been printed on tunics to put a new spin on creativity. The textile industry has recently gained a desire to become the driving force for innovation, particularly in the beachwear sector. Each fabric offers multiple technical benefits for products in terms of efficiency, easy-care, and durability. Innovative techniques are being used with silk lace, LYCRA®, hemp, and water-repellant coating.This type of process creates combinations and contrasts in lingerie and beachwear. Pastel colors have been paired with more masculine colors like bluish gray and teal.New stitching and cutting techniques are also being experimented with. Women are becoming obsessed with this new desire to be «avant-garde».
