Practice Area
Acquisition Management and SupportMillennium will guide your program through the acquisition process, from milestone and documentation reviews through the day-to-day challenges associated with successfully garnering key stakeholder support and acquisition team cohesiveness and effectiveness. Millennium’s experienced Program Managers will not only work closely with its customers in successfully executing the most complex technical projects, but will apply its lessons learned to enhance the professional development of the entire project team. Millennium Program Managers apply the principles of early risk identification and management to minimize the probability of occurrence and impact of performance, cost and schedule issues. Millennium staff also ensures program schedules are realistic and properly documented and maintained through use of an IMS that provides the customer valuable critical path analysis, and can be easily tailored to presentation-ready visuals required for senior management presentations.
Our Contract Management professionals will be on hand to assist with even the most complex of contract strategies. We pride ourselves on listening to our customers’ requirements and developing a Project Management plan that is specifically tailored to their individual needs. We provide you with a complete analysis before any contract is generated to assess requirements and ensure necessary steps are applied. At the end of a period of performance, Millennium provides Contract Post-Award guidance, with Contract Closeout services available to ensure program compliance. Our Contract Management service also includes many other necessary functions, such as document generation, Form DD 254 Security preparation, assistance in cost accounting standards, FAR regulation compliance, and collaboration with audits and technical evaluations.
Business and Analytical SupportMillennium has extensive experience in budget and schedule preparation support, cost analysis, and financial management, with added experience using the Army’s General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS). We provide acquisition cost support to assist in developing cost estimating models, independent government cost estimates, life cycle cost analysis, cost/benefit analysis, cost estimating drills, cost control and analysis, and other documents as required. Our personnel will assist with the formulation, justification and execution of your PM budget. Millennium provides extensive experience in completing project core business documents, including P&R Forms, as well as POM Preparation, CARD documents, and other key program documents and forms.

Project Manager, Distributed Common Ground System - ArmyTHE ORIGINAL CLIENT
At PM DCGS-A, our Program Managers provided senior acquisition program management services to support development, production and life cycle management for the Army’s $10B premier intelligence system. Millennium Program Managers led the Army team through the myriad of Department of Defense and Congressionally mandated instructions, regulations, policies and procedures to achieve two major acquisition decision milestones in less than a year. Millennium’s ability to craft executable and affordable acquisition program management strategies and related technical and financial documentation led to the senior Pentagon Acquisition Executive’s approval for the Army to test and then field DGCS-A hardware and software, providing the latest C4ISR intelligence processing and dissemination technology to soldiers fighting across the globe. Millennium Program Managers also provided PM DCGS-A with the full spectrum of acquisition program management tool sets, to include development and maintenance of a software-driven Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), internal and external strategic communications and public affairs, budget and financial management, office operations management, configuration management, system requirements policy and processes, and personnel management.
