Ravinder Kumar is the Executive Director of Indian Centre for Manufacturing Excellence (ICME). With more than 10 years of experience as a Principal C o u n s e l o r a t C I I - A V A N T H A C e n t r e f o r Competitiveness, Chandigarh; he has been able to translate his skills and knowledge
into impeccable solutions through his practical training, counseling and mentoring.

He has worked as a Manufacturing Excellence Expert with more than 100 Organizations covering Indian, American & German MNCs like Cummins, Demag Cranes, Crompton Greaves, Godrej Appliances, Bata, Luminuous to name a few, in last 10 years at Pan India basis. In Punjab itself he has worked with more than 40 Organizations across Mohali, MandiGobind Garh, Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Amritsar.
He is a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Certified TPM Facilitator from JIPM Japan and Certified Business Manager from Federal Ministry of Commerce and Technology, Germany. During his visit to Japan and Germany, Ravinder garnered a vast exposure to Benchmark Plants & Practices in detail with companies like BMW and Mercedes. He is also an assessor for ACMA Annual Awards at National level.
Ravinder started his carrier with Maruti Group, working in Production & Process Engineering Department, and then later joined Escorts, Faridabad in Management Position in Engineering Department.
He has successfully conducted more than 150 Training Programs on 5S, 3M, Kaizen, TPM, SMED, Poka-Yoke, TPS , Value Stream Mapping, Flow Manufacturing, Jishu Hozen, Integrated Quality Management, QCC, LCA and 7 QC tools; trained more than 5000 persons; and reported savings of more than 1000 millions in the Served Companies.
