Johnny Chung has over 20 years of top-tier business process and

technology consulting experiences in financial services, travel &

transportation and properties/retail sectors.

He is a certified accountant (HKICPA, ACCA) and have in-depth financial systems and

process consulting and implementation experiences.

Further to his over decade of enriched consulting experiences, he has joined China

Construction Bank (Asia) Corporation as the Head of Fintech Division (recently renamed

from Information System Division) and in charge of applications, infrastructure &

operations, IT governance, technology risk management and fintech innovation.

In addition to the successful migration of core banking system of retail banking, credit card

& loan and corporate banking, he has been driving several fintech and innovation

initiatives covering artificial intelligence (NLP & machine learning), robotic process

automation, mobile app development using agile approach (scrum), open banking/API

initiatives and etc.

He is very passionate and committed to drive digital transformation and fintech

innovations to embrace the era of fintech disruption and digital economy.

2 Ms. Akina Ho Head of Digital Transformation & Innovation The Great Eagle Company, Limited

With 20 years of experience in change management, innovative technology, consulting, finance, hospitality and global sales operations management experience starting from the Silicon Valley to worldwide.

Akina is leading a new department at Great Eagle to execute digital transformation and innovation at the group level and also across all subsidiaries globally. She is also part of the Investment Committee that evaluate start-ups in cutting-edge technology and disruptive business model across different industries. In the short time she has been with Great Eagle, she has been able to push for IoT deployment, drone technology, and other transformation projects that resulted in receiving rewards like the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards 2019. She was one of the Executive that helped a startup in Hong Kong to become one of the Unicorn in 2017 with investors from FoxConn and Softbank. She is a respected guest speaker, panel specialist and guest professor with notable media appearances on Bloomberg and Fox International. She is a recipients of many awards for great leadership, digital transformation & innovation, social innovation and proptech. She is regularly invited as a speaker and panelist at technology and digital transformation conferences covering big data, security, digital marketing, HR, IoT, Customer Experience, and others. 3 Ir. John Hui Chief Information Officer The Education University of Hong Kong

John Hui is currently the Chief Information Officer of The Education University of Hong Kong. He was the Director of the Enterprise Solutions Office of the City University of Hong Kong (CityU) before joining EdUHK. Prior to his career in the

education sector from 2015, John worked for a leading IT service provider in Hong Kong for fifteen years delivering cutting edge critical systems to both public and private sectors. John is active in professional and community services, serving as exco members of iLEAP of the Hong Kong Computer Society, Joint Universities Computer Centre, Asia Higher Education Group, International Conference on Blended Learning as well as International Symposium on Education Technology. He also actively contributes to the ICT industry by taking various voluntary roles such as organizing committee member of Robocon 2020 and HKICC 2020 while mentoring undergraduates from the computer science department of a local university. John obtained his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Hong Kong, MBA from the Hong Kong Baptist University, and is currently pursuing his PhD in Computer Science at CityU.

She has over 19 years of experience in the information system industry during where she worked in Deloitte Toronto for 4 years and transferred to Deloitte Hong Kong for more than 12 years. Eva is also the Deloitte APAC Cyber FSI Leader. She focuses on

Technology & Cyber risk consulting and implementation service including Cyber strategy, Fintech and blockchain governance and risk management, application, infrastructure and cloud security, data privacy and protection. In addition she also leads technology risk regulatory assessment from HKMA, vulnerability assessment, privacy assessment (e.g. PDPO or General Data Protection.

5 Mr. Vincent Kwok General Manager, Hybrid IT & Presales, Hong Kong & Macau, Hewlett Packard Enterprise

As the General Manager, Hybrid IT & Presales, Hong Kong & Macau of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Vincent Kwok is responsible for managing pre-sales, the consulting practice and professional services in the Hong Kong market.

Joining EMC Hong Kong in 2001, Kwok brought with him extensive knowledge in IT infrastructure gained in leading IT companies. Kwok leads a team of technology professionals to help EMC customers to select, architect, plan, implement and manage the most appropriate and trusted information infrastructure solutions. Kwok is also a high-end storage system expert, and has led several large scale deployments in the financial services and telecommunications sectors. Prior to EMC, Kwok has had vast experience in business development, product marketing and customer support. He has more than 20 years of business and technical experience in the IT industry, and a proven track record of excellence in leadership by gaining mindshare of customers and partners through working closely with them. Kwok is also a regular speaker at a wide range of industry events, covering many aspects of IT, including Cloud Computing and Big Data. 6 Mr. Dennis Lee Senior Vice President – Solutions Consulting KBQuest Hong Kong Limited

Mr. Dennis Lee is the Senior Vice President of KBQuest Hong Kong Limited, currently managing the ICT solution development operations, customer services delivery & engagement. Prior to this, Dennis has served as the Senior Manager – ICT Cluster of the Hong Kong Science and

Technology Parks Corporation. He has extensive years of ICT management experience, having held ICT management positions in a number of well-known multinational listed companies such as Barclays Group, Motorola, Saatchi & Saatchi, iBasis Inc. and a few software houses and systems integrators specialized in providing enterprise management systems, business intelligence and the Cloud computing software services consultancy. Being the Life Fellow member & the Council Director of Professional Development – Hong Kong Computer Society, Mr. Dennis Lee is very active in the professional development & community services: like the Chief Assessor & Judging Panel of the HKICT Awards, the member of HKCS IT Summer Camp Organizing Committee, the former Chairman of the Electronic Business Special Interest Group, the founding Chairman of the former Cloud Computing Special Interest Group (reformed Enterprise Architecture SIG in 2018), and the founding Chairman of the Smart City Special Interest Group. Mr. Lee obtained his MBA degree from the University of Abertay Dundee UK and a MSc Information Systems degree from the City University of Hong Kong. 7 Dr. Howard Leung Associate Professor City University of Hong Kong

Howard Leung has over 15 years of experience working in the academics and is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at City University of Hong Kong. His current research interests include 3D Human Motion Analysis and Retrieval, Intelligent Tools for Chinese Handwriting Education, and Web-Based Learning

Technologies. He has received Best Paper Awards for his papers in a number of conferences including Sixth International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics (ICMLC 2007), 31st Computer Graphics International (CGI 2014), 36th Computer Graphics International (CGI 2019). With the collaboration of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, he has developed a new assessment tool for the Hong Kong Examination Assessment Authority to determine the extra time allowance to be given in public examinations for candidates with physical disabilities. Howard has assumed a number of administrative duties in his university. For the Department of Computer Science, he is the academic advisor for some Year 1 students as well as the student exchange coordinator serving outbound exchange students. For the College of Engineering, he is the Outreach and Student Affairs Coordinator responsible for scholarship and promotional activities. He has given numerous project demonstrations and hands-on activities to local secondary school students who visited City University of Hong Kong under various occasions. As a CityU-Learning taster course, Howard delivered an online lecture on 27 February 2020 to support secondary school students learning at home during the anti-epidemic period. Howard received the B.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University, Canada, in 1998, the M.Sc. degree and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 1999 and 2003 respectively. He served as the External Examiner for the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Multimedia Technology and Innovation for Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong in 2014-2018 and the External Examiner for the Higher Diploma in Computing Studies for Caritas Institute of Higher Education in 2010-2019.

8 Mr. Francis Ngai

General Manager IBM China/Hong Kong Limited

Francis Ngai is General Manager of IBM China/Hong Kong Limited, overseeing IBM’s business operations and strategic development in Hong Kong. He leads the company to assist clients to transform and capitalize on emerging growth opportunities particularly around IBM Watson/AI and the cloud

platform in the AI era. Prior to assuming his current role in May 2017, Francis was Executive Assistant to the Chairman, IBM Greater China Group, as well as Director, Commercial Business, IBM Greater China Group. Francis was an acknowledged transformation leader in his role as Commercial Business Director. He integrated the Digital Sales and Commercial workforce while achieving significant business growth for consecutive quarters. Swift, Sharp and Agile (SSA) were always his advocacy in Commercial Business. Before he took up his Commercial Business Director role in March 2015, he had been Non-IBM Competitive Accounts Leader, IBM Greater China Group, Commercial Business Executive and Public, Distribution and Communications Sectors Executive for IBM Hong Kong. He also had been Enterprise Systems Manager and Sales in the Public and Health Sector for more than eight years before his executive leadership roles with a strong track record of success. Francis first joined IBM in 1987 from campus recruitment from The Chinese University of Hong Kong as a Sales Representative. He left IBM for EMC for four years in 2000 and rejoined the company in 2004. Francis is an active participant in Hong Kong community and the IT industry. He is a Fund Allocation Committee member in the Community Chest, a member of the Hong Kong Computer Society Council, Cyberport Advisory Panel, and eMPF Committee of the Institute of Financial Technologists Asia (IFTA Council). He is also dedicated to higher education, and serves as a member of the Innovation and Information Management Programme Advisory Board of Faculty of Business and Economics, The University of Hong Kong; a member of three committees of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, namely Advisory Committee, Master of Science in Information and Technology Management of the CUHK Business School, External Advisory Group of the MBA Strategic Plan, and Advisory Committee of the Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management.

9 Ms. Alice So Head of Entrepreneurship Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited

As a passionate, strategic and result-driven leader with regional exposure, Alice has been dedicated to provide supports to Hong Kong start-ups for more than a decade. Before she joined Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited in 2011, she supported the design-related

start-ups for years at the Hong Kong and Science Technology Parks. She has also worked for multinational companies in plastic resins, chemical and pharmaceutical businesses, with an extensive business background in regional markets which require a deep understanding of multicultural and multi-ethnic working practices. Currently as the Head of Entrepreneurship, Alice leads the Entrepreneurship Team to nurture talents and assist startups at different life stages to accelerate in the digital tech industry worldwide, through the Cyberport Creative Micro Fund and the Cyberport Incubation Programme with financial support and professional services. She also drives the integration of traditional and new economies through adopting more innovative solutions as well as strengthens the collaboration of different stakeholders to foster the development of local industries and the economy. With a Degree in Public and Social Administration and a Master in Engineering Business Management, Alice continues to equip herself with knowledge of business and technology trends, as well as to support and empower those around her to push the boundaries of their capabilities to become their best selves. She believes very strongly in the importance of people developing entrepreneurial mindset, no matter they are in the role of a student or an employee. Alice has been in the judging and assessment panels for signature technology awards and innovation funding schemes including the Smart People Award of Hong Kong ICT Awards, the Jumpstarter 2017 of Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund, 2019 MIT Inclusive Innovation Challenge, the Technovation and the TSSSU fundings of universities, etc. Alice is a member of the Hong Kong Computer Society and a Project Management Professional of the Project Management Institute.

Wilson Wong Ka-wai is the Chief Executive Officer of Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (“HKIRC”). A veteran of over 25 years in sales and management experience in private and public companies, Wilson is helming HKIRC in strategic business development and operational rhythm. Wilson is also

responsible at the highest level for furthering HKIRC’s mission to promote Hong Kong as an international centre of e-commerce, and to encourage a better understanding and more effective use of the Internet and related technology in Hong Kong and across the region. Before joining HKIRC, Wilson was the General Manager in Hong Kong Productivity Council. He also was Managing Director of SAP Hong Kong and held various key management positions in Microsoft Hong Kong. 11 Ir Yeung, Peter Tin Chung Head of Electronics/ICT Clusters & Smart City Platform Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation

Ir Yeung is responsible for the overall cluster development and market strategy of electronics, information and communications industry, and the development of the Smart City platform. He works closely with technology companies and startups to accelerate their innovation journey to

commercial success. Peter has been an active participant of the Hong Kong community. He is a member of the Advisory Committee for Department of Computing of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, a member of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Programme Board of The Vocational Training Council, and a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers. Peter also served as the Chairman of the Electronics Division (2009-2010 Session) and Committee Member of the Information Technology Division of HKIE, and a Council Member of the Hong Kong Computer Society. With over 30 years of experience in systems engineering, business management and technology development, Peter has been a mentor and a collaborator with many startups and tech companies. Peter holds a Bachelor degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the Oregon State University and a Master degree in Business Administration from the York University of Toronto. Peter is also a member of IEEE and the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Society.
