LUXX LED LIGHTING PROFILES

ALUMINIUM

All of our aluminium profiles come with acrylic (PMMA) or PC covers in clear transparent, frosted or milky options, providing easy mounting:

This is the best mounting option for inside cabinet walls and other limited spaces. This provides superior thermal design.

Our aluminium product line includes aluminium profiles for surface, recessed and suspended mounting options. For surface mount, we always use spring steel clips to avoid the breakage of plastic clips. All our aluminium profiles are made of anodized aluminium alloy 6063.

LINEAR ALUMINIUMOur linear aluminium profile series boasts an absolutely linear light appearance with no visible LED dots or spots. This provides the mounting advantages of an aluminium profile with the linearity of our plastic profiles and superior heat management.

NEW FLEXIBLE PROFILEWe proudly present a new flexible PVC profile. It can easily follow your product shape and can be used in corners and on edges. Various colors allow adapting the profile to your product or your CI.

PLASTIC

We have a long history with plastic profiles. We know how to create linear profiles that have the smooth lighting effect of fluorescent tubes, while also avoiding the “dot or spot effect” of LEDs, by using optical batches during the extrusion.

All our plastic profiles are made of PMMA (acrylic), some covers for the aluminium profiles are made of PC.

All PMMA profiles are manufactured using a high temperature batch, which increases the softening temperature from 185°F (85°C) to 257°F (125°C). We are presumably the only manufacturer in China offering this as a standard.

Some profiles are made as co-extrusions to offer a wide selection and combination of colors and diffusers. Some profiles are made using either softening, high impact, light-stopping chalk, optical (diffusing), frosted or nano batches or a combination of these - all on top of the high temperature batch. With proper sealing, our plastic profiles offer an IP54 or IP65 protection.

The OPTICline Alu 12 profile offers an asymmetric inserting rail that can be placed in 2 different positions or left out. Combined with the lens type cover it offers 5 different light beam angles (depending on the LED size and height, using LUXX reference LED strips: 20° to 90°). The MULTILine Alu 16 profile also works as a mounting rail for the LineProfil 12 and LineProfil 14-8 (see pages 51-52) plastic profiles. The profiles can be inserted easily from the sides. Especially for installations longer than a meter this is a perfect solution to avoid the bending of the plastic profile. Using a staggered way of mounting, it also ensures a smooth linking of multiple profiles for lengths over 98.43 in (2.5 m).

*Endcap set 2: adds 0.08 in (2 mm) on one side and 0.16 in (4 mm) on the other side to the length of the profile, the latter offering a 5-ways wire exit. It has an IP54 sealing on both sides.

The MULTILine Alu 16 profile (see page 34) also works as a mounting rail for the LineProfil 12 and LineProfil 14-8 plastic profiles. The profiles can be inserted easily from the sides. Especially for longer installations (more than 39.37 in/1 m) this is a perfect solution to avoid the bending of the plastic profile. Using a staggered way of mounting, this also ensures a smooth linking ofmultiple profiles for lengths over 98.43 in (2.5 m).
