COL® Shutters Specialists was established in 1986 as a manufacturer and supplier of roller shutters across Malaysia. In order to become the leading roller shutter manufacturer in Malaysia, we continue to expand through developing and manufacturing various types of roller shutters which provide a variety of safety and security applications in either residential, commercial or industrial areas. Our products consist of Transparent V® Polycarbonate, Fire Resistant roller shutter, Perforated Pin Hole, Heavy Duty, Light Duty, Aluminium and Aluminium Grille.

We are located in Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru, Malaysia to produce high quality roller shutters and their related accessories to meet the stringent demands of our clients, mainly supplying to government, banks, developers, shopping malls, chain-links and export markets. We have a team of highly motivated, experienced engineers and technicians who are more than capable of achieving and maintaining the highest quality of the products and services provided by us. They are also well trained in the art of installation, as a perfect installation is the key to a worry free product experience. Operation Method

Manual Spring Operated

The most common type of operation method.

Most suited for smaller doors that requires no hand chain and functions only through the embedded springs. When the shutter is closed, it is almost impossible to open from the outside due to a unique dual locking system. The locking system is made up of horizontal bar locks which can be installed either on the bottom bar or the shutter’s panel. Key locking systems and pad lock steel bars are also available.

Motor Operated

The most convenient way to operate a roller shutter.

A motorised operated roller shutter allows for absolute convenience for the customer by enabling the closing and opening of the shutter with the click of a button. It also allows for the operation of much larger shutters which would otherwise be to heavy to push up by hand. This type of roller shutter consists of a push button, which is wall mounted. It can also be operated through an optional remote control unit. A manual haul chain is also provided for use in the event of a power failure.

Manual Chain Block Operated

This operation method is highly recommended to be used in conjuction with the heavy duty roller shutter. It operated through a manual chain which controls the operation of the shutter.

Ideal for industrial applications, the roller shutter panel is manually raised via a continuous haul chain which drives the full spring counter balanced roller barrel assembly.
