In New Hampshire, many young children and their families benefit from thefederal nutrition programs:6
2,818 infants, 6,891 children, and 2,622 women received nutrition counseling and nutritious foodsthrough WIC in the average month. ($4.6 million in healthy WIC food benefits in FY2018.)10,348 children received healthy meals and snacks on an average workday in child careparticipating in CACFP. (4.2 million CACFP meals and snacks were served in FY2018.)8,000 children age 0-3 received SNAP food benefits to support good health and food security.
