Job Description

Department the intern will be working: Education, Career Development

Job Description1: The aim of the project is activating leadership among high school students,

providing for them platform for thinking and making clear own decision about future occupation,

helping them to identify their values, strengths and weaknesses, personal and professional goals;

Job Description2:To prepare program (in form of presentations, discussions, quizzes and other

interactive activities) based on development of soft skills among pupils, which will help them to

identify own potential;

Job Description3: To run goal-setting process among pupils, help them to develop an effective

strategy to realize and achieve their goals;

Job Description4: Use interactive methods of teaching in order to help pupils to improve

communication skills, language skills, presentation skills, arise self-confidence;

Job Description5: Show foreign country through presenting national traditions, food,history,

clothes in order to show the variety of world's cultures and to share the idea of cultural, religious

tolerance;

Job Description6: Take part in LC activities, integration events, be involved into LC work -

facilitation, education, PBoX preparation, recruitment, OGX activities, others.

Measurable results expected from the intern: Minimum of 30 training delivered, country

presentation held, active involvement in LC life and work; Main expectations from interns -

proactivity, flexibility and willing to make an impact, as interns will play the main part in

realizing of all planned activities of the project (with the help of OC) and deliver desired results

of AIESEC in Ukraine.

Preparation required from the intern before arrival: Prepare information about career

orientation and career development in home country, find statistic data about popular and non-

popular professions in home country; prepare materials about professional skills, leadership,

time-management, other soft skills, create business games, simulations, interactive activities

around mentioned topics; Trainee should be prepared to present own country, culture and

traditions (power point presentations, music, clothes, food, drinks, flag, brochures, books, games,

instruments etc.)

Learning points that the intern might obtain during the internship: Interns will work in

dynamic international environment with like - minded fellows form Ukraine and abroad,

attending trainings, preparing sessions, working with young people and contributing to their

development. New deeper knowledge in people development area (training and facilitating

skills), education and teaching skills, involvement in the educational environment, team

management skills, gaining experience on AIESEC systems, project management experience. Additional information a potential candidate may require for the Internship: Full program

of the project and education flow will be send additionally. Own laptop is obligatory.
