8. The Law of Intuition: The ability to follow your instincts. Leaders evaluate everything according to their leadership bias. They possess leadership intuition that informs and guides everything they do. They are readers of people, trends, situations and their resources.

10. The Law of Connection: It’s the ability to relate and connect with people. You move people to action by first moving them with emotion. (Opening up the lines of communication with your group, team or family).

Connect with yourself Communicate with openness and sincerity Know your audience Live your message – Be transparent Go to where they are Focus on them (your followers), not yourself Believe in them Offer direction and hope

12. The Law of Empowerment: Secure leaders delegate power to others. It is becoming a secure leader who can give power away. One can make their organization more powerful. Example: (Henry Ford and the Model T). Don’t be afraid to empower others. Barriers to empowerment are:

Desire for job security, what if I work myself out of a job by empowering others?

13.  The Law of the Picture: People do what people see. You are an example and role models for others. It’s important to become conscious of what you say and do everyday. Good leaders are always conscious of the fact that they are setting the example and others are going to do what they do, for better or worse. Followers want to support a strong leader. The living picture they see in you as their leader produces energy, passion, and motivation to keep going.

1. Lead by example2. Strong ethics or morals3. Knowledge of the business (project)4. Fairness5. Overall intelligence and competence6. Recognition of their employees
