The Mor Raipur Club of this institution formed in year 2018 with the purpose of integrating fresh and young minds of NIT for creating a people powered Smart-city by involving them in development initiatives and projects by Raipur Smart City Ltd.The Various verticals associated with the club are Hariyar Raipur, Compassionate Raipur, Rising Raipur, Shining Raipur, Badhiya Raipur, Digital Raipur.
Our Vision is to be best institution working towards development of smart cities throughout India.
Drawing Competition On Swachh Bharat On 4 July 2018, drawing competition was organised in primary and secondary school of Kara village. Class 3-8 participated actively in this competition. The main motive behind the drawing competition was to clear the image of clean India among them. Highlights: *The clean image of Swacch Bharat was created among students. * Teachers also participated in the events. * Prize was distributed among the students.
MOVIE SCREENING Movie screening and presentation was conducted at Govt. School, Kara Village on 5th of July 2018. The main aim was to create and spread awareness among students about the cleanliness & hygiene. In this programme, videos about swachhta Bharat sensitising student about personal hygiene and cleanliness students was screened. Interaction session in which quiz and other games on sukha and Gilakharcha was conducted.
Swachhta Rally Swachta Rally was conducted by Mor Raipur Club NIT RAIPUR on 6th July 2018 for cleanliness along with the students of Govt. School, kara village. The main aim was of the rally was to interact with the people and to create awareness among them about the importance of cleanliness. The students led by the teachers and coordinators carried placards displaying messages to sensitize people about cleanliness. During the rally the interns and coordinators interacted with the local people in order to orient them towards quitting open defecation and promoting cleanliness and hygiene among the people.
At last, swachhta pledge was taken by students, teachers and the coordinators.
Plantation The Plantation was conducted on 7th of July 2018 by Mor Raipur NIT club along with winner of swachhta drawing competition and teachers of secondary and primary School in kara village. The main aim of the plantation was to have a lots of greenery which provides peace of mind for the better student's progress. Highlights: 1.Students along with teachers and parents actively participated in tree plantation. 2.promotion of thought "clean India green India". 3. Students pledged to take care of environment.
BEST OUT OF WASTE Mor Raipur NIT club of students organised a competition BEST OUT OF WASTE. It was held on 9th of July 2018 with students of govt. School Kara, Dist.: Raipur, The main aim of this competition was to teach student about reuse, reduce and recycle. Highlights: 1. Student were taught about reusability of household products. 2. Student were told make useful product from their household waste. 3. Student enthusiastically participate in this competition and winners were awarded.
Door to Door Visits Door to door visit was conducted on Daily Basis. Its main aim was to know the problems of villagers and to introduce them to various policy and schemes of govt. Highlights: 1) Coordinators interacted with the local people and tried to find their commons problems. 2) Villagers were informed about various schemes like Ujjwala Yojana, digital India, skill development Yojana, Jan dhan Yojana, SKY yojana, etc. 3) People were keen to know about the other the policies which they were unaware of. 4) Apart from this they were sensitised about personal hygiene and cleanliness
Nukkad Natak
Abhinay, the dramatics club of NIT raipur along with mor raipur NIT club performed nukkad natak 'touchwood' on 14th of July at various places on superstitious beliefs.
Its aim was to eradicate superstitious beliefs and to shoulder to 'modernise India' so that the desirable change may occur through education.
Highlights:
1) Nukkad natak was conducted at Kara village, Guma higher secondary school and marine drive on 14th of July.

Cleanliness Drive
With the view to make city clean and to beautify the streets of Raipur city volunteers cleaned and painted decrepitude walls.
Highlights:
1) Student of Mor Raipur Club volunteered bunch of fools and family, Bunch of Fools— a youth based organisation dedicates to clean the city.
