Experience

• Set-up and endowment of a laboratory for crystal growth from solutions. • Growth and kinetic measurements of crystals from solutions (KDP, ADP, TGS, LiIO3, alums, etc). • Technique and crystal growth from melt. • Studies of crystal growth mechanism from solutions. Estimation of kinetic and thermodynamic

parameters (dislocation efficiency, impurities coverage effect, activation energies of growth, etc). • Non-linear optical crystals, growth and characterization. • Pure and doped ferroelectric crystals for IR detection, growth and characterization. • Phase transition in single-crystal and ferroelectric ceramics.
