What is involved
The Professional Review involves the submission of
an experience and competence report complete with
supporting documentation such as a CV, organisation
chart and CPD information.
Training LMS offers a two day report writing workshop to
facilitate the completion of this application.
How is it delivered?
Candidates will be given detailed guidance on how best
to demonstrate their competence and experience by
tutors Roger Gillespie FCIOB, Brian McMullen FCIOB or
David Little FCIOB. During the workshop candidates will
write up an initial draft report.
What happens after the workshop?
Feedback will be provided on the initial draft submission
prior to being formally assessed by one of our
CIOB approved assessors, for recommendation to the
CIOB for Chartership.

PROFESSIONAL REVIEW
What is it?
The Professional Review is the final stage in gaining
the CIOB Chartered qualification. Successful
candidates are entitled to use the designation
MCIOB and the title Chartered Construction
Manager.
Who will be mentoring me?
Candidates will be assisted at the workshop by
one of our experienced tutors; Roger Gillespie
FCIOB, Brian McMullen FCIOB or David Little FCIOB.

Who is eligible?
To be eligible candidates must have met the CIOB
academic and experience requirements. Training
LMS can assist with this at an early stage to
confirm your eligibility.
