Guidelines of the PLPIndividuals must currently be serving in supervisory, managerial, or executive positions to enroll in the program.

All nine courses must be completed to graduate from the program.

The fee for the PLP is $95 to cover costs of materials, book, and assessments.

There is a time limit of one year to complete the program.

The Capstone course can only be taken after all other courses are completed and the Verification Form has been reviewed by the program coordinator. Continued on next page.

Guidelines of the PLPGuidelines of the PLP

The Orientation, Introduction to Leadership, Understanding Work and Leadership Styles, and Leadership and Innovation workshops must be taken in the order listed.

Supervisory Skills, Motivation, Communication Skills, and the Directing, Coaching, and Empowering workshops may be taken in any order and at any time (after the Orientation and before the Capstone) during the completion of the certificate.

Procedures to Complete the Program

1. Complete Online Orientation by submitting account information.

2. The program coordinator will review course registration form.

3. Materials for the program will be sent to you.

4. Download the verification form and fill-in the date for each workshop as it is completed.

5. Finish all required coursework for the program.

6. E-mail the Verification Form to register for the Capstone class.

Enrollment Procedure

1. Discuss the program, requirements, and associated fee with your supervisor and obtain approval to register.

2. Obtain your departmental account number (this includes the system part number (2 digits), account number (5 digits), and support account number (6 digits - if none, use zeroes).

3. Fill out the program registration form. (Link on next page.)

4. Upon submission of the registration form and authorization of the account number you will receive the text book, verification form, and other program materials through campus mail within the next 7 business days.
