Architects’ and Engineers’SpecificationsEach loudspeaker shall be a 40 watt, ported loudspeaker systemutilizing one 4.5" (114 mm) full-range HVC (Helical Voice Coil)driver. The loudspeaker shall be used for installation on walls,ceilings, and other flat, solid surfaces.

Each loudspeaker shall have a nominal rated impedance of 8ohms and shall be wired in parallel with a line voltage matching(step-down) transformer with an accessible, front-mountedlevel selector appropriate for setting various output taps. Theloudspeaker input connections will allow for direct connection to70 volt, 100 volt or low-impedance amplifiers.

The loudspeaker shall have a protection circuit to protect theproduct from occasionally being overdriven.

Each loudspeaker shall have a bandwidth of 80 Hz – 17 kHzand a maximum continuous acoustic output of 103 dB SPLreferenced to a full bandwidth pink noise input at 1 meter at theloudspeaker’s rated power. The input connection shall consist ofa three-terminal barrier strip on the included mounting bracket.Each loudspeaker shall be wired to the mounting bracket via a 4-pin, pre-wired connector.

Power settings available shall be: 2.5, 5, 10, 20, and 40 wattsat 70 volt; 5, 10, 20, and 40 watts at 100 volt; and 40 watts at 8ohms (when referenced to IEC noise for 100 hours). The nominaldispersion shall be 125° H x 125° V coverage pattern at -6 dB(average 1 – 4 kHz).

When used with optional junction boxes (wall- mount bracketvariant only), ceramic terminals and thermal fuse, the loudspeakershall meet numerous standards for combination music andevacuation systems around the world.

Exposed cosmetic surfaces of the loudspeaker shall be paintable,and the acoustically transparent grille component shall be formedof powder-coated steel.

The loudspeaker shall be the Bose® FreeSpace® DS 40SE VAloudspeaker.

BC-100 Conference Microphone Base

Key Features The BC-100 serves as three functions: connected with a gooseneck microphone to be a desktop

conference microphone, a boundary microphone, and insert a MIPRO ACT-Series bodypack transmitter into the BC-100 base to be a wireless conference microphone.

ACT-848 1U Quad-Channel UHF Wideband Digital Receiver

Key Features 1U metal chassis, equipped with a new VFD screen, monitor headphone jack, a rotary control knob and

buttons on the control panel, also, a new AES/EBU digital output and optional Dante or AVB interface on the

MIPRO Auto Scan and ACT™ function provides the transmitter’s frequency with precise and rapid sync to the

There are 7 preset groups with a total of 224 pre-saved channels. Group 1 & 2 each allows 16 channels of

interference-free operation without any restriction. Group 3 ~ 6 each allows 48 channels of interference-free

operation with restriction applied. Group 7 user-defined group allows users to choose and save up to 16

channels from 2,881 available frequencies.

Each channel has separate AF signal output and presets the output level equal to the sensitivity of the

microphone capsule. Switchable three levels ensure the microphone to operate within proper sensitivity and

dynamic range, free from distortion.

The proprietary DSP audio processor and A/D converter make the sound quality almost the same as the

wired system.

The antenna TNC female connectors provide bias for the MIPRO antenna systems to increase the receiving

range and improve the signal stability.

Optional MIPRO RCS2.Net software allows real-time network remote-controlling and monitoring of up to 64

channels. Additional FSA compatible channels calculator software allows users to manually set compatible

channels of any frequency band.
