1. Gentleman, we are honoured to have Professor Ahmed Rafique

Akhtar amongst us to speak on the important subject of Secterianism and

Religious Extremism in Pakistan.

2. Gentleman, Professor Ahmad Rafique Akhtar is a distinguished

Muslim scholar who is taken as an expert on matters related to Islam,

understanding of Holy Quran, Hadith and science. He is a post graduate of

Govt College Lahore and is invited frequently on various forums, inland and

abroad incl USA, Europe and Dubai. He has also delivered lecs at National

Def Univ, Air War College and National Institute of Pub Adm.

3. Gentleman, Professor Ahmed Rafique Akhtar is author of

Muqadamat Ul Quran and over 26 volumes of his lectures delivered at

various national and intl forums have been published so far.
