Danzer has invested in new technology to slice high-quality veneers at much higher thicknesses than possible in the past. The physical characteristics and visual appearance of products with these sur-faces come close to those made of solid wood. The advantage of slicing, compared to sawing, is: little to no waste, as the entire log is sliced into useable material.
