Pumps glossary-Suction capability and self priming
Our pump are self priming except for PICO pumpSelf prime capability is 2 mt without no back valve, and up to 4 mt withnon return valve
49
Pumps glossary-Prevalence, Bypass valve and bypass pressure
Our pumps have the prevalence limited by the bypass valveThe bypass valve sets the maximum pressure that the pump can produce and the maximum power required to the motor
50
Pumps glossary-Explosion proof
Only EX50 pump is provided with explosion proof motor suitable to beinstalled in hazardous area classified Zone 1 or Zone 2
-Mechanical seal or rubber seal
The EX50 , Panther and the BP3020 have the mechanical sealsThe other pumps have rubber seals
51
Pumps glossary-Duty cycle and thermal protection
Ther duty cycle define the maxime possible use of the motor to avoidthe burning out of the motorIn some pumps we have the thermal protetector to stop the pump( such as AC pump , BP3020, Vantage pump, EX50 pump) in othercase we have not the thermal proetction and the pump has to stop after the duty cylec and letf not running fot the time necvessary(example 30 minuts ON and 30 Minuts OFF like required forBP3000, Panther DC and Bipump)

Meters glossary
AccuracyAccuracy is the percentage error within the flow rate range
RepeatabilityIt is the percentage error at the same flow rate condition
61
Meters glossary
Minimum working pressureWe have not such kind of conditionwe have the minimum flow rate , necessary to move the mechanism inside
Working pressure
The meter has to work within an installation with the maximum pressure rated for the kind of meter
62
Meters glossary
Calibration
The mechanical meters ( K33 and K44) have a calibration procedure based on the bypassing of the chamber of measure
The electronic meters have a calibration procedure based on the correction of the volume impulse assigned to every pulse
Q= Vimp x N°of pulses X Kfactor
63
Meters glossary
Pulses
Pulses are generated by a magnetic field which closes and opens a circuit
The opening and closing of the circuit are detected by a an electronic board
64

Comparison between pneumaticpump and gear pump
A curve…low resistanceB curve… medium resistanceC curve .. High resistance
112
Comparison between pneumaticpump and gear pump
AP pneumatic pump , with low resistance curve can reach up to15 l/min
AG gear pump , with low resistance curve can reach up to 10 l/min
CGP pneumatic pump , with medium resistance curve can reachup to 9 l/min, like the gear pump
BP pneumatic pump , with high resistance curve can reach max5 l/min
BG gear pump , with high resistance curve can reach still 9 l/min
113
Comparison between pneumaticpump and gear pump
Why to use a electric gear pump in placeof a penumatic one?
Higher flow rate not affected from the resistance of the hydraulic installation
No need of a compressor, then lessinstallation cost
Less maintenance
