MEDIUM AND HEAVY CONSTRUCTIONDAYTON SUPERIOR COIL TIE®

The Coil Tie is an extra strong, resistance welded tie designed to take theabuse encountered in medium and heavy concrete construction. An ex-tremely simple tie, capable of many combinations and uses in the field, itmay be used with or without Tycones or combined with ContinuousThreaded Coil Rod to form an Adjustable Coil Tie.

TAPER TIE ASSEMBLYAvailable in lengths to 30 inches with contour threads. Any threadlength is available on special order.

SHE BOLT ASSEMBLYExcellent system for architectural concrete orcustom forming with primary advantages ingang forming applications. Crimpedinner ties, or continuous contour threaded rod insure positive disconnect while tapered outer units can be used many times.Outer units are furnished with contour threads. Exter-nal wall thickness spacing eliminates conesand washers.

SAFE LOAD RATINGS–SWLSafe load ratings for standard and heavy duty ties vary from 2,250 lbs. to 5,000 lbs.dependent upon the safety factor required and the size of the wire.

GANG FORM WALER SETConsists of Plylag waler rod, steel bracket and hex nut. Used in different lengths to attach 2 x 4 and 2 x 6 walers to form panels, and 2 x 6 strongbacks used in gang sections.

WALER AND STRONGBACK TIESWaler ties are used to attach lumber walers to the gang after the pan-els have been erected, using a Z-Tie Holder. Strongbacks are simi-larly attached using the longer strongback tie.

ONE-PIECE WALER CLAMPAttaches simply through the wedge bolt slot in form panel side railsto provide wedge action take-up, securing single, double or scabwalers in place.

GANG FORM BOLTUsed in conjunction with standard wedge bolts to convert form panelhand set assemblies for gang forming.

Z-TIE HOLDERUsed to attach and clamp double 2 x 4 or 2 x 6 walers to form panels. This method uses waler ties and standard wedge bolts.

BRACE PLATEAccommodates 2 x 4 wood brace and is easily connected to form-work with the standard wedge bolt.

RIGID INSULATION

MOLDED POLYSTYRENE INSULATIONWhile polymer is hydrophobic, typical “Beadboard” has a closed-cell structure within each individual bead, but voids between beads. It canbe highly sensitive to water in all forms; vapor, liquid, and ice. Relatively good thermal resistance, moderate compressive and handling strength.

EXTRUDED POLYSTYRENE INSULATION

R-value of 5 per inch of thickness to help reduce en-ergy costs and increase occupant comfort.

MIRADRAIN®/MIRADRI

MOISTURE PROTECTION PRODUCTS

CCW MiraDRI 860/861 waterproofing is designed to providewaterproofing protection for below grade foundation walls, slabs, parking decks, plaza decks, tunnels and many other interior andexterior applications. The CCW MiraDRI waterproofing systemconsists of the self-adhering membrane, an environmentally friendlywater based primer for surface preparation; a liquid membrane fordetailing; and mastic to seal termination points.

CCW MiraDRAIN® 6000, 6000XL is designed for applications wheresingle-sided subsurface drainage is needed. The flat side of the core fitsdirectly against wall surfaces making it ideal for foundation walls, retainingwalls, bridge abutments and other similar structures. MiraDRAIN® 6000saves installation labor compared to conventional aggregate drainageand provides a quality installation that remains effective over timebecause of its resistance to “creep.” By reducing hydrostatic pressure,MiraDRAIN® 6000 enhances waterproofing. It attaches easily to weepsystems and requires very little space due to its relatively thin cross section.

CCW MiraDRAIN® 6200, 6200XL is identical to MiraDRAIN® 6000,except that it includes a thin, high strength polymeric film on the flatside of the core to provide extra protection when applied over softsheet waterproofing membranes. The film prevents extrusion of thesoft membrane into the back side of the core dimples.

CCW MiraDRAIN® 8000 has a chemically-resistant PVC core designedspecifically for applications where more severe chemical exposure ispossible, such as airports, helicopter pads, and industrial applications.MiraDRAIN® 8000 is particularly resistant to petrochemicals, and maybe used to provide subsurface drainage around underground storagetanks. MiraDRAIN® 8000 also exhibits “low creep” characteristics inherentin MiraDRAIN® 6000, 6200, and 9000.

CCW MiraDRAIN® 9000 is a lightweight, super-efficient drainagesystem designed specifically for under slab applications on plazadecks. Its ultra-lightweight substantially reduces labor and overallcosts compared with traditional aggregate drainage. MiraDRAIN® 9000is ideal for planters, permitting efficient drainage while allowing formaximum depth of growing medium.

TYPES OF WATERSTOPSWATERSTOPS FOR NON-WORKING JOINTS

RIBBED FLAT WATERSTOPConstruction or contraction jointswhere little or no movement isexpected. Ribbed shapes provide abetter seal than dumbbell shapes.

DUMBBELL WATERSTOPConstruction or contractionjoints where little or nomovement is expected.

BASE SEAL WATERSTOPIdeal for slab-on-grade jointsor walls which will be back-filled. Easy to form.

LABYRINTH® WATERSTOPPrimarily used in verticaljoints where little or no differential movement is

expected. Does not require split forming and adds akey to the joint. Difficult to use in horizontal joints.

SPLIT WATERSTOPAvailable in ribbed with centerbulb and dumbbellshapes. Eliminates the needfor split form bulkhead.

WATERSTOPS FOR WORKING JOINTS

RIBBED WITH CENTERBULB WATERSTOPThe most versatile type ofwaterstop available. Thecenterbulb accommodateslateral, transverse and

shear movement. Larger centerbulbs accommodate larger movements.

DUMBBELL WITH CENTERBULB WATERSTOPAccommodates lateral, trans-verse and shear movements.Ribbed shapes provide bettersealing characteristics.

TEAR WEB WATERSTOPAccommodates largemovements. Upon jointmovement the tear webruptures allowing the

U-bulb to deform without putting the material in tension.
