BOX OFFICE INFORMATION

Cash Advances A show may request a cash advance. Toyota Center will not cash the checks. A request for a cash advance must be received four business days prior to event. Toyota Center reserves the right to limit the amount of cash advance and will determine in its sole discretion when the cash advance will be provided.

General Information Tickets will no longer be offered at Toyota Center box office for the first 24-48 hours after a show goes on-sale to the general public. For at least the first day of an on-sale, tickets will only be available through www.toyotacentertix.com, select Houston area Randalls locations, or through the call center at 1-866-446-8849. Tickets will go on-sale at the box office at 9:00 a.m. the next day the box office is normally open to the general public. Toyota Center Box Office is located at the La Branch Entrance on the northwest corner of the facility. Hours of operation are as follows:

• Monday – Friday - 9:00am – 6:00pm • Saturdays during NBA season – 10:00am – 3:00pm

Call 866-446-8849 for Saturday hours during the summer • 12:00pm – close of event on Sundays, only when event is scheduled

EVENT STAFFING AND EXPENSES

Estimate of Expenses An estimate of labor expenditures can be provided upon request. The estimate will be based on the information provided by the promoter; the quality of the estimate will depend greatly upon the quality of the information provided to the facility.

Stagehands & Labor Eggers on Stage is the exclusive provider for stagehands and labor for all events held at Toyota Center. Please contact the Asst. GM/Sr. Director of Arena Operations for all stagehand inquiries at 713-758-7200.

MEDIA AND SPONSORSHIP

Sponsorship/Partnership Any event sponsors or partners must be approved by your event coordinator in writing. You can contact your event representative for a list of current Toyota Center sponsors. Please note that any list is subject to change.

Media The media entrance to Toyota Center is located on La Branch Street at Clay Street. All media must have appropriate credentials. It is the responsibility of the event promoter to organize and credential media requests. Each event promoter will be responsible for providing to Toyota Center the names of the individuals within the media who will have access to the facility for that particular event.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE Levy Restaurants is the official food and beverage provider for Toyota Center. All arrangements for serving food and beverage, including catering needs, must be made through Levy Restaurants. For more information call 713-758-7505.

Backstage Catering Backstage catering is located in the Press Dining Area where there is seating for approximately 100 people. The Press Dining Area can be expanded upon request. Adjacent to the Press Dining Room is a pantry room for small preparation area. All alcohol consumed on Toyota Center property must be purchased through Levy Restaurants. Cooking with gas appliances is prohibited in the Toyota Center. All equipment brought in by outside catering companies must be electric.

Sampling The selling or sampling of merchandise, food, beverages, or other items on Toyota Center property is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from Toyota Center.

SAFETY

Pyrotechnics and Special Effects The use of lasers is permitted inside Toyota Center, with prior approval. Cooling water and drains are located backstage approximately 100 feet from upstage center. Lasers must comply with all federal and stage regulations and must be operated in a safe manner consistent with all codes.

Pyrotechnics and smoke machines are permitted as follows: • Promoter must give Toyota Center at least two weeks advance for all

pyrotechnic displays • Pyrotechnic displays must be arranged through the Director of Event

Operations • Promoter must provide a pyrotechnician with a Texas license • The Houston Fire Department requires pyrotechnic demonstrations • The Houston Fire Department is responsible for issuing a permit that must

include: o Certificate of Insurance o A copy of pyrotechnic’s Texas Licenses o Layout and full description of all pyrotechnics material o Signed and notarized deed restriction o Payment in full for a stand-by inspector and pyrotechnics permit

To contact the City of Houston Permit office call 713-247-8557. Please contact the Director of Event Operations for a list of all entities that must be included on the Certificate of Insurance.

Smoking Policy Toyota Center is a non-smoking facility. Toyota Center offers the top of the loading dock and just outside of our staff entrance as designated smoking areas for those working an event.

Fire Marshal All arena floor layouts must be approved prior to event day by the City of Houston Fire Marshal’s office. The fire marshals have approved certain locations on the service level of Toyota Center for storage and placement of production equipment (See Appendix A for map).

SECURITY AND CROWD MANAGEMENT

Promoter Contact Each promoter will designate an individual that will be available on the day of the show to assist with any production issues that arise during the day.

Keys Keys are available at the request of the show’s representative at no extra cost. Contact your event coordinator to arrange for keys.

Backstage Passes Each show will be responsible for providing a method of securing the stage and backstage areas. Each show will be responsible for providing passes for Toyota Center and its operator’s affiliates as well as credential boards showing the limitations of each pass for the term of the engagement.

Police Service Toyota Center can provide a number of special police production options. Please contact your event coordinator with your specific needs.

GENERAL AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Loading Dock The entrance to the loading dock is located in the southeast corner of the Toyota Tundra Parking Garage at the intersection of Jackson Street and Leeland Street. Toyota Center has a total of seven loading dock bays. Five bays are dedicated to the show and the remaining two are for food serviced deliveries. After 4pm, the food services bay may become available for use by the show. Additional parking for concert production trucks is located off-site (See Appendix B for map of Loading Dock).

Shipping and Receiving Toyota Center accepts packages for upcoming shows one week prior to the event. To ensure acceptance, please include event name and venue contact on all packages. The packages are stored in a storage cage located on the loading dock. The show is responsible for pick up of all packages. If a package is received after the event, Toyota Center will reject the package and return it to sender.

Radio Usage A house radio will be provided to the promoter representative for the term of the event at Toyota Center. The radio must be checked out every morning and returned to the event representative prior to the promoter representative’s departure.

Confetti The use of confetti is permitted. However, Toyota Center must be notified at least seven days in advance. There will be a $2,500 charge to the show for clean up. In the event that Toyota Center is not notified that confetti will be used, there will be a clean up charge of $5,000.

Score Boards Toyota Center scoreboards and video boards are manufactured and installed by Daktronics, Inc.® The scoreboard system consists of a centerhung multi-display system, endhung displays, a ribbon display encircling the seating bowl and an outdoor marquee.

• The centerhung scoreboard features: Eight, 23mm full-color LED screens, each measuring 8’ high by 12’ wide; Four, 6mm ProStar video displays, each measuring 9’ high by 16’ wide (these are among the highest-resolution screens ever installed in a sporting venue); A circular, 16mm ProAd display, measuring 2’6: tall by 17’ in diameter.

• Each 34mm endhung screen is 16’ tall by 45’ wide.

• The 360-degree ProAd ribbon display is approximately 2’6” tall by 960’ in length and features 23mm resolution

• The LED marquee is located outside the LaBranch entrance. City ordinance permits display of still images only, with no transition between frams and a minimum hold time of eight seconds. The marquee measures 9’10” tall by 31’5” wide.

The centerhung display is suspended at a height of approximately 33’ above the arena floor for basketball and hockey, and rests at approximately 64’ above the arena floor when not in use. Each display can be used to display full-color logos and .avi animations. Still images must be PC-based files in one of the following formats: .psd, .jpg, .bmp, .tif or .eps. Animation files must be in .avi format, uncompressed and in the exact resolution of the display. Please contact Director of Scoreboard Operations for spec sheets. Toyota Center also features a digital video control room located on the service level adjacent to the loading dock. The control room features a Grass Valley switcher, Chyron character generator, two VPlay clips servers and a 4-channel EVS replay system. Video can be accepted in these formats: DVS Pro, Beta SP, DigiBeta, MiniDV and DVD. TV displays are located throughout concourses, in each suite and in most private areas.

BUILDING SPECIFICATIONS

Arena Floor Toyota Center’s floor is 85’ wide x 245’ long. The facility’s floor capacity is 4,000 psi. Toyota Center has a removable dasher wall system with floor inserts to anchor it to the ground.

Stage and Barricade Toyota Center carries a Stage Right stage and barricade (includes bike rack and mojo-type barricade). Toyota Center carries enough staging to create a 48’ x 72’ stage and 4’ to 6’ high. The decks are 4’ x 8’ with black tops. Toyota Center also has drapery for the front of the stage, three sets of stage stairs and one ADA accessible ramp.

In-house Equipment Most equipment needs may be met through Toyota Center inventory including the following items:

• House reduction curtains • Four fork lifts • One scissor lift • Two electric pallet lifts • 2,000 portable chairs • Various types of tables • Tensa barriers • Pipe & Drape

Contact your event representative for specific equipment needs.

Rigging Specs Overall rigging loads are not to exceed:

• 120,000 lbs. for end stage configuration • 100,000 lbs. for center stage configuration

Rigging plans should be sent directly to Toyota Center Event Operations department for approval. The center-hung scoreboard can be raised to the bottom of the catwalk and sit 65’ off the floor.

House Lights House lights are controlled from the sound room and varying lighting levels are determined by the promoter.

Spotlights Toyota Center carries ten Gladiator 3000 spotlights available for use and eight spotlight positions on the catwalk.

Show Power Stage Right can provide:

• 2,700 amps at 208 volts Stage Left can provide:

• 1,000 amps at 208 volts for show power and 1,000 amps at 208 volts for show sound

Toyota Center can also provide: • 1,100 amps at 208 volts located on House Left with access to the mix location

All locations plug in via: • Standard five pin Hubble connector • Five wire camlock system • Standard pigtail connections

Shore Power Shore power is available at the west loading docks where there are two 800 amp service panels (See Appendix B for loading dock map).

Sound System Fixed, four cluster, centerhung sound system features 60 JBL Precision Directivity PD Series Mid-High and Low Frequency cabinets and 4 JBL Application-Engineered (AE) Series downfill cabinets. 32 JBL AE Series subwoofer cabinets and 8 JBL AE series downfill cabinets are mounted within the scoreboard structure. 32 JBL AE Series delay cabinets are spaced throughout the furthest seating bowl areas. 27 BSS Soundweb signal processors distribute audio throughout the arena. ASControl amplifier management system controls and diagnoses over 100 QSC power amplifiers. Control Room equipment includes:

• 32-channel Soundcraft k3 Mixing Console • Vega 2020 series wireless microphones

Playback includes: • Two CD Players • One cassette deck • One MiniDisc recorder/player • One digital message repeater

Building Interconnectivity 32 JBT junction boxes throughout the arena terminate at the truck dock interconnect panel. Four JBT junction boxes are located on the main floor of the bowl, each with a minimum of 2 triax, 12 audio and 12 video connections. Six JBA junction boxes on the main floor terminate in the sound room, located in the northwest corner of the press level. Clearcom intercom, dry or wet lines, connects all JBA junction boxes with eight catwalk locations and the house lights position in the sound room. Satellite unplink pedestal is located at the intersection of Bell and Jackson Streets. Vyvx and HTN fiber connectivity is located at the truck interconnect panel at the loading dock. Four Vyvx lines (analog or SDI) and one HTN line are available.

Phone System and Internet Access Toyota Center is equipped with a Meridian phone system; most rooms include both data and voice drops. Inform you event coordinator of any phone or internet needs.
