PRODUCTION CONTROL MANAGER We are the major division of a growing multi-division corporation engaged in intermittent Lot-type production. We manufacture capital goods. Typical manufacturing cycles are 6 months. Products include thousands of components. Our location is Northwestern Pennsylvania.
We require a Production Control Manager. The position reports to the Materials Manager, and includes responsibility for three departments: Production Planning, Scheduling and Dispatching and Parts Service involving approximately 45 employees
The person who fills this job must have a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in production control. He will be capable of solving, pressing operating problems, while improving systems and procedures and his organization. He will be conversant with modern material management techniques including EDP. He will be capable of advancing to the position of Materials Manager and beyond. A college education is preferred. An IE degree will be ideal.
