Requirements:

The slabs strength had been compromised due to poor concreting practices and the Builder Merkon needed a solution to rectify the problem.

Solution:

The Design Engineers that were consulted chose to rectify the problem by attaching CRFP strips to the underside of predetermined sections of the slab. Australian Prestressing Services were contracted by Merkon to carry out the works and chose to go with the Sika CRFP system, due to its ease of application and cost saving in not having to prime the surface prior to the application of the CRFP Glue and strips.
