Diaphragm tubes❑ For constructing an electrolyte bridge❑ Diaphragm tubes are used in conjuction with a pH glass electrode in a suitable fitting

(e.g. 2TA-PP-63 to Data Sheet 20.2810) for pH measurement in critical media.They form the diaphragm of a reference electrode in the measurement medium which is inside a separate vessel(e.g. KCl reservoir). This prevents the poisoning of the reference system.In addition, the blocking of the diaphragm (due to the larger surface) is delayed in time.

❑ Applications: emulsions, varnish, paint, photochemicals, liquids which poison the reference system,media containing sulfide, part-aqueous and non-aqueous media miscible or immiscible in water.
