DENSO SPARK PLUGS 101 With a strong reputation for quality, DENSO spark plugs guarantee optimum engine per-formance for all competition 2 and 4 stroke engines.

Back in 1972, DENSO received a patent for the innovative U-groove ground electrode de-sign which later became the industry blueprint for spark plug manufacture. In the 1980s, DENSO became the first company to mass produce the double-platinum spark plug. Today, DENSO continues to push the technology barrier toward the horizon. Our latest achievement, the Iridium Power Performance range, truly redefines performance driving with the worlds smallest iridium alloy electrode diameter of 0.4mm. To improve firing performance, the contact area between the electrode and the flame nucleus needs to be reduced in size. This is why the electrode was made as fine as possible to a diameter of 0.4mm. Compared to normal Spark Plugs, with a spark gap of 0.8mm, the ignitability limits are better by 2.5 and this adds up to more power and efficiency. DENSO Spark Plugs offer:

It’s only been 9 months and the demand for EXPRIT chassis’ and OTK spares has grown faster than anyone at IKD had foreseen. For Sodi, we are celebrating the brands 1 year anniversary since they burst onto the Aussie scene with their current generation of world beating ST model chassis’.
