Assignment description

Describe the concept of products, product masters and their variants. Describe the variant configuration technology types. Discuss inventory dimension groups. Create, release, and finalize products. Set up default order settings.

Screen shots & description1. Create a new product 2. Go to Product Information Management in that click on product and select all product and product master.

3. And select product to create a new product.

4. A pop up panel is open here we select icon product. In product we must select a type and sub type for the product i.e. product or product master.

5. In a product is one that is uniquely identifiable; meaning that it does not have a size, color, configuration, or style. Some examples might include Apparel such as hats or scarfs.

6. In a product master is a standard definition of a product that does include a size, color, style or configuration. A product master always includes product variants which define the details about the specific variations of the product. Some examples might include electronics such as a monitor that is available in multiple sizes, or apparel such as shirts that are available in multiple size and colors.

7. Select product type i.e. item and service8. Select product type i.e. product and product master.9. Fill the identification and press ok.

10. After creating a product navigate on dimension groups.11. And fill storage dimension group and tracing dimension group.12. In storage we define where we store our goods & product i.e. warehouse & site.13. In tracing we trace our product in warehouse i.e. batch & serial.

14. Click on release product.15. Select the product which we have make.16. After that we select company & press ok.17. Our product is released now we make a purchase order on that particular product.

18. To make purchase order we go on account payable.19. And select purchase order and click all purchase order.

20. Create purchase order click purchase order icon.21. And fill vender details & press ok.22. After that fill the important details which is require to complete to purchase order.
