Cleaning & Interconnects Category Manager, Techlink, October 2010 - CurrentDeveloped from concept to manufacture: four complete ranges of Audio/Vision Interconnects with 240 SKUs. Launched in Apple in 17 countries (1 range), Dixons Europe-wide and other worldwide distributors (3 ranges).Created and then conducted the Interconnects presentation to potential and current distributors. Travelled to the Far East on a solo trip to manage the new ranges and explore new manufacturing processes.Research ProjectsI proposed new materials, colours and trends. Techlink adopted a number of the suggested finishes in the 2011 product ranges.

Product Designer, Techlink, August 2008 - October 2010Developed premium screen and keyboard cleaners (part of Keepit Clean Range). Launched in Apple retail stores in 17 countries, and then Dixons stores UK and Europe wide under This Cleans.Designed an ergonomic MacBook stand exclusively for Apple UK retail and online stores.Launched into DSGI a series of Audio Visual Furniture: Ark, Reveal and Opus.Proposed and conceptually developed an iPhone app to compliment Techlink’s iWires product in Apple stores. Collaborated with an external App design company for the coding. 300 downloads per month (avg.) worldwide.Lead presentations to clients at Apple, Aurora and internally to colleagues.Conceptual DesignsConcepts included: iPad accessories, domestic furniture, laptop furniture and a discreet DSLR camera bag.

Junior Point of Sale Designer, DisplayPlan, August 2007 - August 2008Developed Counter Top Units (CTUs) for Wella, M&M’s and Walkers CrispsDesigned and prototyped a Clipstrip range for Black & Decker’s Light BarDesigned and launched in-store Gondola dressing for Uncle Ben’s in Germany.Conceptual DesignsBlockBuster games stations, Whole Food Market - Kensington Store Window DisplayResearch ProjectsBlue-Sky thinking for Walkers Crisps Cradle to Grave cycle, looking at innovative distribution methods. Sustainable materials research sourcing new materials including: Hemp (used for a Walkers Crisps project) and Bamboo for use in an eco-friendly project for Nike.
