ROCKMONITOR XR SYSTEM

The TX5001/2/3 RockMonitor XR is a fully remote and highly accurate strata monitoring system that provides continuous, real-time data delivery.

An independent study found that organisations using a mine-wide remote strata monitoring system have increased productivity by 40%, reduced health and safety incidents by 65% and minimised the deployment of support collateral.

The RockMonitor XR system provides:

• Comprehensive, highly accurate and real-time strata monitoring• Mine-wide strata monitoring (the controller supports up to 150

telltales and can monitor up to ten kilometres of tunnel in a single network)

• Easy plug-and-play installation and quick reset• The XR system consists of three components – the TX5001

RockMonitor XR Telltale, the TX5002 RockMonitor XR Controller, and the TX5003 RockMonitor XR Reader.

Leveraging advanced firmware algorithms and diagnostics, the RockMonitor XR Telltale delivers comprehensive, real-time data on strata conditions, protecting both your people and your assets and improving the efficiency of your mine operations.

It’s easy to read, install and reset, and uses a robust, high-quality design suitable for harsh and hazardous environments.

One TX5002 RockMonitor XR Controller can support up to 150 telltales. Each telltale sends data on strata movements from the mine to the surface in real-time. It supports RS485 and/or Ethernet output, allowing information to be sent from the mine to anywhere on the surface utilising existing communication backbones.

Using the RockMonitor XR, your organisation can drastically improve protection of both people and assets and enhance roof support by applying any necessary action based on accurate, real-time strata information.

AIR PUMP CONTROLLERS

GEN

Air powered diaphragm pumps often run constantly. The vast majority of this time is wasted, incurring significant and unnecessary costs.

MaintenancePump maintenance can cost $600,000 or more per year. A study on a typical mine’s workshop sump pump showed that run time was reduced by 94% when fitted with a controller. The service life of a pump could beextended by anything up to a factor of 10 if it ran only when needed, with a corresponding reduction in associated costs.

EnergyRunning 50 2” diaphragm pumps constantly for a year uses roughly 2.6 MWh of electricity. Depending on tariff this is roughly a $500,000 spend , a large fraction of which could be saved.

Other benefitsTypically at the end of a gate road, due to excessive demand, line air pressure drops below the point where water can be moved out of the panel. A more reactive pumping strategy can maintain line air pressurethroughout the mine.

Diaphragm pumps are meant to be self-priming but when there is sufficient head pressure this ceases to be the case. The resulting damage to roads creates a hazard and downtime. If the pump is shut down before going dry, it will reactivate with no need for manual re-priming.

Standard specifications:

• Nominal air pressure 690 kPa• Max. air flow 2500 l/m• Filter requirements < 0.4 mm• Activation depth 150 mm

Customer options:

• Probe hose length Std. 2.5m• Hose tail size 1/4”, 3/8”. 1/2”• Mounting Bracket Standard bracket is suitable for 2x 10mm

The purpose of the Borehole Intersection Kit is a quick response/lightweight unit as an alternative to current bulky, time consuming alternatives. The system via use of either readily available compressed air or water can pump up in a matter of seconds its unique flow through valve, stopping the leakage of mine gases into the mine workings.

These gases are then redirected via a series of hoses and valves to another unit located in the adjacent mine wall and mining practises can commence safely in a fraction of the time of standard practises of the past. Optional grouting pack is available also to prevent any residual gas leakage.

CONVEYOR FOAM FM-60

Conveyor Foam FM-60 was designed to capture dust on conveyor line transfer points and at specific equipment such as the bottom of crushers. The design incorporates a bubble size to capture the dust particles from the air then quickly collapse taking the dust particles onto the conveyor line.

The main issue with competitive products is that they are too stable and last up to 24 hours thus creating nuisance when the foam spills over the conveyor line and onto the ground causing runoff problems. In contrast our Conveyor Foam FM-60 is designed to last about 15 seconds to allow the bubble/dust particle to collapse onto the conveyor line without spillage onto the ground. Conveyor Foam is usually diluted about 350 times thus reducing the cost per tonne of ore or rock and as it reduces the surface tension on even the most difficult of materials.

Conveyor Foam FM-60 is a water based organic product without any negative environmental impacts.

Advantages:Captures dust on conveyor lines transfer points and around equipment such as crushers by rapidly adsorbing dust particles onto a bubble surface to prevent particles from becoming air borne. Conveyor Foam FM-60 is bio-degradable presenting no harm to the environment

Typical Properties:Appearance, Conveyor Foam FM-60 is liquid at ambient temperature and is light yellow in colour, with a specific gravity of approximately 1.

Applications:

• Mining • Dust Control on Construction Sites• Quarrying Activities• Rock Crushing• Conveyor Transfer Points• Stock Piling Ore/Coal/Soil• Mulch Manufacturing

Solubility:Conveyor Foam FM-60 is soluble in water.

Shelf Life:2 Years from the date of manufacture, when stored at ambient conditions in the original container.

DUSTCAP

DU

ST S

UPP

RESS

ION

Our DustCap product is formulated to spray onto roads, hard stands and trafficable areas to reduce dust emission from the surface. It is used in conjunction with our RBMA product. RBMA is designed to break down surface tension even with the most difficult soils and allows water to penetrate deeper into most soil types allowing the DustCap to draw down into the road surface. Roads degrade because water allows fines in the road to float to the surface when vibrated by passing traffic. This causes ruts, corrugations and dust emissions. DustCap is not a polymer-based product trying to glue particles together which tend to fail after a short time. After initial drying, DustCap prevents water from entering the surface of the roadway hence preventing fines floating to the surface. This unique product is unlike any other in the market and is used successfully in mines within Australia. DustCap is a water based biodegradable product without any negative environmental impacts.

Advantages:Suppresses and prevents dust forming on roads and similar surfaces by preventing water floating fines to the roadway surface. This prevents particles from becoming air borne. DustCap is slowly bio-degradable presenting no harm to the environment

Typical Properties:Appearance, DustCap is liquid at ambient temperature and is light cream in colour, with a specific gravity of approximately 1, pH is neutral.

Applications:

• Dust Control• Road/highway Construction• Hardstand and Trafficable areas• Mining and Construction sites

Solubility:DustCap is 100% miscible in water.

Shelf Life:2 years from the date of manufacture, when stored at ambient conditions in the original container.

WET IT DOWN

Wet IT Down is our next generation wetting agent further reducing the amount of water required for specific applications due to its more powerfulformulation.

Wet IT Down can save up to 35-50% water utilisation. Wet IT Down functions by greatly reducing the surface tension of water permittingexcellent wetting even on the most hydrophobic natural and artificial soils. This allows better water penetration when Wet IT Down is utilised for Road Construction, Dust Suppression or Agricultural Projects. Wet IT Down therefore reduces the costs of water and the cost of application by reducing the water truck usage. This is of great benefit when water is scarce or expensive to acquire.

There are no adverse environmental impacts when using Wet IT Down.

For natural soils higher water penetration, resulting in less evaporation, less water runoff, extended water coverage and longer times before re-application allowing better equipment utilisation and reduced costs

Advantages:Penetrates deeper into soil or stockpile. Holds moisture longer but allows drainage to prevent sodden conditions. Suppresses dust on roads and similar surfaces by holding moisture on dust particles longer to prevent particles from becoming air borne. Wet IT Down is bio-degradable presenting no harm to the environment.

Typical Properties:Appearance, Wet IT Down is liquid at ambient temperatureand is light blue in colour, with a specific gravity of 1 pH is neutral.

Applications:

• Land rehabilitation• Agriculture• Stockpiles• Mulch manufacturing• Tree establishment• Road construction• Temporary dust control

Solubility:Wet IT Down is soluble in water.
