The ever growing MAFI puzzleMAFI has had another successful year, and we feel very humble as our solutions are so well received worldwide.

However, as usual, we choose to focus on the future!

In the coming years, we will continue to broaden our services - and we have a lot going on! We are preparing new, innovative products, qualified logistics for high delivery reliability and innovative solutions for the forthcoming 5G rollout. Simultaneously, we will expand our organisation to match the growing needs and demands of us.

MSS and MIS

Our two business units, MAFI Support Solutions and MAFI Integrated Solutions have laid a stable foundation for further development, thanks to high-performance products in demand. We have a genuine focus both on our tailored solutions that match a specific requirement for a particular customer, and our broad and flexible product portfolio, where almost all needs are met concerning antenna brackets. To expand our customer base, we are strengthening with new employees continuously.

The 5G rollout will be a lot about co-locations and densifying as well as to update and complete existing sites. Through our close contacts with the industry, we already know to a large extent what the needs for this look like, and we have developed new, innovative solutions that will simplify the upcoming 5G rollout.

Environment first

Taking responsibility for the environment is essential to us. Our products are made of premium galvanised steel, a fully recyclable structural material with comparably low CO2 emissions.

By upgrading to high strength steel, we can reduce weight and material use by 20% with maintained capacity. Also, we design for minimal material usage and waste, to produce a more sustainable product.

It is also important for us to maintain the high quality of our products. Our design and verification process ensure this. We design for quality and avoid welds when possible since bolted joints are preferable. Moreover, our suppliers are verified, and we batch sample test manufactured parts and product kits in-house.

Delivery reliability

A growing challenge for us has been to maintain our high delivery reliability as we grow. Moreover, I would like to say that we have succeeded. We measure two dates to see how well we perform: the date the customer ask for us to deliver and the date we promise that we can deliver. So, for last year our accuracy was 98 % on the promised date. We are working hard become even better. Two ways of addressing this are to improve our forecasts for future orders and to even furthermore develop our second sources.

These are just a few pieces of the MAFI puzzle that we are putting together to keep ahead in a fierce global competition. We hope we will keep your trust and that we together with OEM´s, design companies, mounters, partners and friends, can develop and grow into the future.

CE Marking, Product Development and Design AidsMafi is a EN 1090 certified organization, which means that our CE-marked kits comply with EN 1090-1, EN 1090-2 standards to Execution Class 2.

During the product development process, every component is designed and optimised using Finite Element Analysis techniques. Prototypes are then physically tested and refined in our laboratory.

Every design follows these guidelines:

• Make the kit as easy as possible to assemble and provide clear assembly instructions.

• The kit is packed in as small a box as possible to ensure efficient storage and transport.

• Make the product as light as possible for easy handling on site.

Every kit comes with a data sheet with load tables. The load tables give the maximum ultimate vertical

and horizontal loads that may be applied to the kit. For bracket kits that can be clamped to tubular parent members — or support a tubular member — there is also a table of torque resistance for different standard tube diameters. MAFI provides CAD blocks for all kits and we can also provide Excel tools for checking brackets and freestanders.Disclaimer: Design recommendations given by MAFI concerning the use of a particular product are based on site information provided by the customer. MAFI provides a Declaration of Performance for the product itself, and it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that imposed loads are within the capacity of the product.

Products that can fit or host equipment from any telecom equipment manufacturer is an MSS product and constitutes a standard assortment. MSS products are stocked in our own and our distributors warehouses ready for fast deliveries every day.

Designed to allow an equipment pole to be offset froma parent pole or tower leg.

FlexibilityThe 3263, 3265 and 3273 brackets can be mounted on any vertical round member from Ø 25–169 mm/1–6.7 in and also on vertical angel sections. The offset pole can be Ø 60.3 mm/2.4 in or Ø 76.1 mm/3 in with the standard Ø 76 mm/3 in U bolts supplied, or optionally up to Ø 114.3 mm/4.5 in.

The 3273 provide a maximum c/c offset of 230 mm/9.1 in and the 3263 and 3265 provide a maximum c/c offset of420 mm/16.5 in respectively 400 mm/15.7 in.The 3272 fi ts round members from Ø 48–193 mm/1.9–15.5 in and provides a maximum offset of 800 mm.The 3272 incorporates a double clamp to cope with the high torque loads impose by antennas at a large offset.
