ID™ Gel has been specially developed by engineers to provide a more comfortable experience for the decorator and to reduce fatigue and tension during periods of prolonged use. The ergonomic handle on the ID™ Gel Oval range features encapsulated gel bubbles which are built into each handle at strategic pressure points. This, along with the longer length, high performance synthetic filaments and oval shaped ferrule allows for exceptional cutting in control.

ID™ Gel brushes are available in a range of sizes and are made from high quality synthetic filaments giving an extremely smooth finish with all paints and varnishes.

ID™ Gel tools include stainless steel blades and acetate packaging for storage after use. The range includes; stripping knives, filling knives, triangle and combination shave hooks and a chisel knife.

ID™ Gel roller frame is capable of taking any 9" x 1.5" roller sleeves.The unique 'grip tyre' mechanism prevents the sleeve from slipping during use.

PRODUCT INNOVATION

More than 35 million paintbrushes are discarded in the UK every year. This includes over 24 tonnes of polypropylene, which can be toxic to the environment whilst eroding and can take up to 450 years to degrade.

Down to earth™ has been developed to address this throwaway culture.

The paint brush and roller handles are made from 65% cornstarch which is a natural and sustainable raw material, and in normal landfill conditions will biodegrade over a significantly shorter period of time than polypropylene.

The paint brush head features 30% natural, biodegradable bristles and a steel ferrule that will also biodegrade.

The roller tray is 100% recycled plastic and is recyclable after use. The roller fabric is made from recycled soft drinks bottles.

All Down to earth™ packaging is made from recycled or biodegradable materials and printed using environmentally friendly print processes and inks.

Down to earth™ uses the best materials and processes currently available. As technology advances Harris will continue to improve the range to make it even more environmentally friendly.

The flat profile makes Down to earth™ ideal for painting doors, skirting boards, window ledges and other flat areas with all kinds of paint.

Down to earth™ features a 65% cornstarch handle, which will biodegrade over a significantly shorter period of time than polypropylene.

The head uses 30% natural, biodegradable bristles with a naturally biodegradable steel ferrule.

Woodcare™ is made from 70% Solid Round Tapered filaments (SRT) and 30% natural bristle. Solid filaments are beneficial because they have excellent bend recovery resulting in minimum bristle loss. Round filaments are smooth and are therefore easy to clean and tapered filaments are narrower towards the tip to ensure a finer finish.

Natural bristle bends along its length to ensure a smooth finish every time. Due to the bristle splitting naturally, they are extremely absorbent resulting in faster painting.

Suitable for use with all preservatives and woodcare treatments.
