Polystyrene Produce Trays1/2 STEAM TABLE TRAYWhy settle for standard produce trays, when you can get better protection and competitive pricing from Sonoco Plastics’ Superior Plus produce steam table and sliced tomato trays. Superior Plus produce trays are designed with smooth, curved interior walls to reduce pressure points and channel fluids away from the fruit, keeping it fresh, flavorful and visually appealing. The half steam table trays are available with an optional drain insert that directs up to 250ml of fluid away from the fruit, maximizing shelf life. Sonoco Plastics’ trays provide strong, low temperature seals and can be laminated with polypropylene (PP) or low density polyethylene (LDPE) for faster throughput on packing lines. Superior Plus produce trays are available in black and white.

1/4 STEAM TABLE TRAYSliced tomatoes are vulnerable to damage, which is why you should switch to Sonoco Plastics’ thermoformed sliced tomato trays. Not only do our trays protect produce, but they provide extended shelf life, thus saving money and producing less waste. Our unique design features a smooth, curved surface to reduce pressure points and prevent flat slices and edge damage that make fruit visually unappealing and shorten shelf life. The tray delivers superior fluid handling, allowing up to 80ml of fluid to flow away from the fruit while keeping slices firm and flavorful. Sonoco Plastics’ trays provide strong, low temperature seals with either LDPE or PP films that result in faster throughput on packing lines. Superior Plus produce trays are available in black and white.

DRAIN TRAY INSERTSpecifically designed to support the product above the floor of the outer tray, completely separating produce from col-lected liquid, this unique configuration of tray and insert can be provided preassembled without adding to stack height.
