Cobalt Kinetics was founded because we were not satisfied with the rows of clone AR-15’s on every gun shop

“Cobalt’s rifles are held to a standard of perfection. The receiver’s internal tolerances andsurface finish are tightly controlled to a far greater degree than Mil-Spec demands. The receivers are tracked and recorded through every
step of the manufacturing process; from the delivery of the bar stock to the final assembly of a complete rifle. The receivers are inspected for tolerance, function and appearance at multiple stages throughout the process. Upper to lower fit are held at between zero and two thousandths of an inch. The magazine wells are cut by the slowest, but most precise means – wire EDM. The final assembly process is taken on with the solemnity of a
religious rite. One technician is tasked with hand selecting components for a rifle, based on individual fit.”

“WTF is up with this B.A.M.F.? We’re glad you asked, and it’s true, this rifle does have two forward assists. Why? Well, Cobalt boasts ambidextrous features, of which this is one. Righties and southpaws can effectively utilize the forward assist, offering an equal opportunity for all (lefties of the world, rejoice)… “So what?” you might be
asking yourself. “Big deal.” True, not everyone will need or want two forward assists. But wait, there’s more. The forward assists are pulling double duty and are hiding a little secret. With the bolt locked to the rear, depressing either forward assist will drop the bolt…. Oh, we should also mention that it will get you lots of attention at the range. We had a bunch of folks clamoring around the bench asking about it. At first they were blown away with the rifle’s aesthetics. Most said, “That is one amazing-looking rifle” or “It looks like a Ferrari.” It wasn’t until we demonstrated the unique features of the B.A.M.F. that the mouths stated to hang open and say, “That is one
