We offer a variety of galvanised steel crowd control barriers ideal for construction sites,roadworks, utility projects and events.

Crowd control barriers are easy to assemble and dismantle and are manufactured witha hard-wearing tubular steel frame. Barriers are available in a range of sizes and areavailable in a fixed leg or bar barrier option. Pedestrian barriers are ideally suited toidentify safe access areas within your site. Our crane mounted transport fleet are ableto provide ease of unloading and loading to site, if required.

Deborah Services Limited provide pedestrian barriers manufactured to the samestandards as our fencing and site safety products. TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT

The recognised and well established stacking barrier from Deborah Services Limited ithas all the usual advantages of standard stackable systems but in addition providesmany unique features. The barrier has undergone modifications to further improvelongevity and to meet the proposed NRSWA changes effecting wind stability as set outin BS8442 (when erected and assembled correctly).

The barrier panels have recessed reflective emblems, with features to aid stacking upto a maximum of 40, with a central hand grip to aid carrying and positioning.

Our traffic separators are easy to set up and link together via a captive pin linkingsystem, which enables straight or curved configurations to be created. The systemhas the facility to be weighted with either a sand ballast or water for extra stabilityvia threaded filler at the top of the unit, with a lower plug for easy drainage. Theyare designed to stack very efficiently enabling transport cost to be reduced. Otherfeatures include slots for ease of sighting with a forklift and an integral lamp recessfor road hazard lamps.

The traffic separators are manufactured from UV stabilised polythene and arenormally supplied in red or white (other colours are available on request). They canbe used at docks, airports and construction sites to ensure pedestrian guidance andsafety.

Traffic Management Safety System is a high visibility safety solution and ensuresa stable secure connection. It is the basis of this system and its versatility allows it tobe used in many applications. The system has been fully tested providing protectionto work force, vehicle drivers as well as pedestrians.

The base unit is a steel barrier consisting of hot dip galvanised elements, powdercoated in highly visible safety colours. Individual base units are 150cm long x 50cmwide x 42cm high and weigh 48kg. Each unit links together via vertical pins. Thevarious top sections can be added as specific jobs demand. Specially adapted unitsenable the system to rotate through 180°.

• The Pedestrian Guard is a development of the vehicle restraint system which is tested to current standards and is a cost-effective solution to improving public safety.

Traffic Management Barriers

• The site guard is an anti-climb, galvanised mesh fencing, site guard offers high security for the site, workers and equipment. Gates are also available.

GROUNDWORK EQUIPMENT

Used in the construction of all types of ground slabs, roadways, foundations anddrives. Available with either a true square or flexible edge ensuring a smooth radiusbend. The forms are secured with up to five stakes, held in place by a simple wedge.

Road Forms

TRENCH SHEETINGTrench Sheets are available in one profile and offer different sizes in length. They aregenerally specified to support the vertical faces of most small to medium sizedexcavations. Designed to be handled by excavators using a Quick Release Shackle andconnected via the handling hole provided at one end of each sheet. The sheets areusually installed using the ‘dig and push’ technique, whereby the excavatorprogressively drives the sheet with the aid of a Driving Cap, which prevents damage tothe Trench Sheets.

TRENCH STRUTS Available from stock, in four sizes. Trench Struts feature clawed base and head plates,which are designed to grip the trench lining and hold it tightly in place to preventcollapse.

• Rugged construction gives added strength and reduces the cost of repairs.

• The retaining links on the pins and inner tube prevent loss and accident – keeping the strut in full service.

• The 75mm x 75mm end plates spread the load, thus reducing damage to walings.

• All struts are painted as standard, other colours are available on larger quantities.

Road plates provide support to vehicles and plant crossing excavations. Our road plates canbe supplied in a standard or anti-skid finish to ensure safety at site.Anti-skid road plates complete with approved skid resistance surface and anchorage points.The safety at Street Works and Road Works Act requires plates to be treated with anappropriate skid resistance surface.

Road Plates

These lightweight plastic panels have now become recognised as standard equipment for useon many sites. They are guaranteed unbreakable by vehicles of up to 60 tonnes in weightand ideal for safely manoeuvring heavy equipment around site with minimal disturbance tothe turf.

Ground-Guards are made from environmentally friendly 100% recycled plastic. They rangein sizes from 8’ x 4’ down to 6’ x 2’, and are available with different tread patterns to suit awhole range of uses. Joining clips enable them to be quickly coupled together withouttools, to form semi-permanent roadways and paths.

Scaffold BoardsOur range of scaffold boards includes:

• Grade A - this is a visually graded board and banded to 1.2m support centres, widely used within the scaffold and construction industry.

• BS:2482 - this board is fully compliant to BS2482 and is available in 1.2m or 1.5M support centres.

Scaffold board options available on any of the above include:

• Fire retardant treatments to either Euroclass B or C.

• Nail plates fitted on the face of the board to prevent splitting.

• End bands embossed with your name and branding of your name into the timber.

Readyfix Transom Units

The Readyfix Transom Unit provides a quickly erected independent system scaffold unitfrom standard scaffold tube. This unit will drastically reduce the amount of fittingsrequired on-site. Combined with an exceptionally strong corner joint, which in certaincircumstances may allow ledger bracing to be omitted, cost savings can be achieved onboth equipment and labour.

Xtenda Transom Units

Xtenda Transom Units offer a unique solution to the creation of boarded platformswithin traditional scaffolding. These galvanised steel products combine three loosecomponents into one lightweight, robust and manageable item. Additional flexibilityis achieved when variations are required to the inside of the working platform. Eachunit offers a telescopic inside cantilever, reducing from either 3 or 2 boards down tonone; this is simply achieved by sliding back the telescopic insert.

Climastage System Scaffolding

K’Lock System Scaffolding

Our K’Lock system scaffolding is designed to conform with the requirements ofBSEN12811 – 3:2002 and is one of the most versatile systems available. Its unique nodepoint allows the connection of up to four horizontals into one vertical which is simplytightened with a hammer blow.

The system can be used with traditional scaffold boards by the use of intermediatetransoms, or battens with the use of omega transoms. All horizontals ledgers aremanufactured with a forged blade and can be used either way up. Complemented bya range of accessories including hop ups, staircases and loading bays to suit a varietyof applications.

K’Stage System Scaffolding

Our K’Stage is a traditional system scaffolding providing quick, safe and efficientaccess using a minimum of individual components. Easily erected the modular systemallows lifts at 500mm increments. Double handrails can be positioned at all lift levels.

Using the five basic components and levelling only on the base lift, K’Stage is quicklyerected for all trades. The system uses battens to provide a safe working platform; thesystem is complemented by a range of accessories including hop ups, staircases andloading bays to suit a variety of applications.

Our trestle handrail system is an ideal solution to providing a safe system of work when using traditional builder’s trestles.

SAFETY COMPLIANCE The law governing working at height applies whenever there is a risk of a fall. Our SmartGuard trestle handrail system hasbeen designed to help clients comply with the regulations and has been fully tested in accordance with BS EN 13374 ClassA.

LADDER ACCESSA simple locking gate and bracket provides easy access to the system once erected.

BRIDGING DECKThe bridging deck ensures that boards can be laid flat across the whole working platform, therefore reducing the risk of atrip hazard.

Our props are manufactured from an outer tube 60.3mm Diameter and an inner tube of48.3mm Diameter. The threaded portion is friction welded to the outer tube to produce alighter weight Prop. Adjustable Steel Props are available in sizes No.0 to No.4.

The lightweight, highly flexible and easily handled units are manufactured from materialswhich are environmentally recyclable and water resistant.

Each unit can be linked to the next using the interlocking fasteners that come with eachunit. Once fastened together it is impossible to fall between the units. They can be used inany enclosed or open area.

The soft landing bags are 2500mm in length x 644mm diameter. The outer material is wovenpolypropylene bags and the inner material is directly filled with modified polystyrenepackaging medium.

Drag Boxes provide a fast and efficient method of pipe laying in stable ground conditions where they act as a shieldin the event of trench wall instability.

Installation of the Drag Box is achieved by placing the box in a pre-dug trench. The Trench is then progressed byexcavating ahead of the box and dragging the box forward by pulling on the front strut. As a general guide to theselection of a suitable excavator, the weight of the excavator should be at least 5 times the weight of the drag box.
