FIRE FIGHTING FOAM BLADDER TANKThe bladder tank foam proportioning system is used to induce foam concentrates into watersystem with variable flows and/or pressure.It is a cylindrical carbon steel pressure vessel containing a flexible polymeric elastomer innerbladder which encapsulates the foam concentrate. This bladder physically separates storedfoam concentrate from the water supply. This water pressure causes the bladder to collapse,which then dispenses foam concentrate out through distribution piping and (ultimately) into theratio controller(s).
