CO2 Compressor: Compressor is steam turbine Driven. 04 stages CO2 compressor (centrifugal type) made by HITACHI Japan 02 casing one horizontal split and second vertical split H2 converter is also introduced b/w two stages to remove Hydrogen Operating pressure 147 Kg/Cm2 and flow 47 Ton/Hr having latest surge control
system. Synthesis and High Pressure Decomposition Section:
Pool Reactor It consists of two parts (cooling part, adiabatic part) with operating conditions 145 kg/cm2 and 174-184 oC.
High pressure stripper Design CO2 stripping {falling film evaporator).Operating condition,145 kg/cm2 and 175-190 oC
High pressure scrubber Spherical scrubber having capacity of 9m3.Having ability to scrubs of the off gasses of the pool reactor by fresh ammonia and carbamate.

Low pressure (lP) and Vacuum Section. To purify and achieve 99 % urea solution concentration, following equipments are used in Low pressure and Vacuum sections with operating conditons:
Rectifying column 4.5 kg/cm2 (a) & 135 oC Low pressure carbonate condenser 3.5 kg/cm2 (a) & 50 oC Pre evaporator 0.45kg/cm2 (a) & 85 oC Double Evaporator 0.25kg/cm2 (a) & 130 oC , 0.02kg/cm2 (a) & 140C. Evaporator condenser 0.27kg/cm2 (a) & 50 oC
Waste water & process condensate treatment section (PCT): Double desorber€€ [3.8-4.0 kg/cm2 (a)] having 41 sieve trays to avoid back
mixing and solution down comers. A hydrolyser to break urea to its reactants (NH3 + CO2) by using 21 kg/cm2
steam also provided with 16 sieve trays and down comers.

Job Responsibilities: Reporting to “In-Charge Department” according to my responsibilities include: Understand the control logic and its valid reasoning. Smooth operation of plant by adjusting the process control variable according
to SOP. Maintaining the record of plant operating parameters for best communication. To handle the start up & shut down activities. To control plant maintenance under the safety environment. Strictly application of personal & equipment safety. Execution of “Permit to work” system for safely handling over jobs. Deep understanding with the equipment details & routine behavior. Suggest the suitable modification in working procedures to eliminate the
hazard &to improve the performance of various equipment, Monitoring of process plant parameters. Sound knowledge of the safety precautions & standard used during
the time of catastrophic conditions.
Skill & Competences
Effectively handled emergencies like compressor, turbine tripping Coordinating thirty days (injury/fire free) shutdown for major repair &
modification two times. Handling of emergencies in case of fire & ammonia leakages Commanding in language (Urdu, English)
Safety Trainings: Toxic gas release & its handling. Fire fighting & use of fire extinguisher. Explosive gas release. Working at height. Electric short circuit prevention Working at Confined space & validation of vessel entry permits. Importance of PPE’s (Personal Protection Equipments). Permit to work system.
