The APRJC-CET & RDC-CET-2015 is scheduled to be conducted on 07-05-2015 from 10.00A.M.

to 12.30P.M at all the District Head Quarters. The District Educational Officers have constituted

Examination Centers, appointed Chief Superintendents and required number of invigilators.

The following Principal/Junior Lecturer/PGT/ is appointed as Departmental Officer at the

APRJC-CET& RDC-CET -2015 Examination center as noted below against each.

The Departmental Officer is directed to report to the District Educational Officer on

06.05.2015 at 10.00am and attend the meeting convened by the District Educational Officer at

11.00am to all the chief Superintendents and Departmental Officers, where the District Coordinator

and District Level Observer (DRO) will attend to review the arrangements made at the Examination

Centers and to issue necessary instructions and guidelines. The Departmental Officer and the

concerned Chief Superintendent should jointly receive the non - confidential Examination material and

verify with the requirement. The District coordinator will disburse the amount advanced to the center

to the Chief Superintendents in this meeting itself. Soon after the completion of the meeting the Chief

Superintendent and the Departmental Officer will go to their Examination Center for making effective

arrangements for the smooth conduct of the Test.

Necessary steps are being taken to allot the last centre as mixed centre for all the groups of

There will be three group papers of each 40 marks of objective type multiple choice questions in

addition to General English paper (common to all groups) is of 30 marks objective type multiple choice

questions totaling 150 marks in each group. Each question is given in both English & Telugu version. There

is no jumbling system for RDC-CET. Hence only one set of question paper is given for all courses.

ANEXURE

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE DEPARTMENTAL OFFICERS A certain number of question paper packets of APRJC & RDC CET-2015 are also kept in

reserve in the DEO bulk. In case of emergency need, The Chief Superintendents should intimate the DEO for obtaining the required number of Question Paper Booklets immediately from the DEO bulk and see that all the students get the question paper booklets. 1. The Departmental officer should get familiar with room wise seating plan, question paper

pattern and filling of OMR answer sheets.

They should help the Chief Superintendent in preparing the Room wise seating plan and making proper seating arrangements. For this purpose a Model seating plan is given below.

In this context they are informed that the group wise Question papers are supplied in the

form of booklets containing questions 1 to 150. Each question is given in both English

and Telugu versions. Each Question Paper packet contains 8 question paper booklets in two sets A, B, C, D + A, B, C, D for APRJC CET. The Chief Superintendent and Departmental

Officer should see that the Question Papers in each Code are distributed in such a way that

no identical Question Papers are issued to candidates sitting side by side in any angle. The Chief Superintendent and the Departmental Officer should inform the Station house Officer

about the Test for making bando-bhasth arrangements at the center on the day of the Test.

The Director General of Police is requested in this regard to instruct the concerned for the same. The Chief Superintendent has to appoint the required Number of invigilators, inform

them about their appointment in advance and ask them to turn up by 8.30A.M on the day of the test.

Display Room wise seating plan at a prominent place at the center.

He should convene a meeting jointly with the Chief Superintendent by 8.30 A.M. on the day of

the Test for all the invigilators to circulate the instructions given to them. In this meeting the

Chief Superintendent and the Departmental Officer should instruct the invigilators to go through the instructions given to them carefully and explain them various points like

distribution of OMR answer sheets, question papers and filling of OMR answer sheets. The Departmental Officer should note that neither the Chief Superintendent nor the

Departmental Officer is allowed to make any changes in the Group or the Center of any

candidate. They can effect such changes only when they are instructed by the Convenor

through the District Educational Officer or the District Coordinator. He should receive confidential material from the DEO jointly with the Chief Superintendent. The

Chief Superintendent and the Departmental Officer are the Joint Custodians for the Confidential

Material at the Exam Center. The Departmental Officer should help the Chief Superintendent in proper distribution of the

OMR answer sheets and Question Paper Booklets to the Examination Halls, preparing the

Marked Copy of Nominal Roll, packing and sealing of the post examination material and handing over the same to the District Educational Officer after the exam.

The Departmental Officer should see that the Examination Schedule is strictly followed at the

center i.e

All the candidates with proper Hall Tickets are to be allowed into the Examination Halls

20min. before the Commencement of the test. No candidate should be allowed into the Examination Hall after the commencement of the

Test. No candidate should be allowed to leave the Examination Hall till the completion of Test.

They should see that proper bell is given for indicating the time of completion of every half

an hour and warning bell 5 minutes before the completion of the Test.

They should see that proper drinking water arrangement to the students in the

examination halls is arranged as it will be hot summer.

11.The Dept. Officer should see that the OMR answer sheets and question papers are properly distributed

in the Examination Halls. Collect the OMR answer sheets and the question paper booklets of the

absentees immediately soon after completion of 10 minutes from the commencement of the Test.

12.The Departmental Officer is instructed to see that, these OMR answer sheets and question papers of

the absentees are separately packed and sealed immediately. They should also ensure that the unused

OMR answer sheets and question papers are also packed and sealed immediately.

13 The Dept. Officer should make frequent rounds to the examination halls during the exam and randomly

check the OMR answer sheets of the candidates to see whether all the entries made in it by the candidates

are correct in all respects so as to enable students are familiar with the way of filling OMR answer sheets

14.The Dept. Officer should ensure that all the students have put their Hall Ticket Number on the Question

Paper Booklet on the top of the first page. No Cell Phones, Pagers, Calculators, Electronic gadgets and

Logarithmic tables are to be carried by the candidates in to the Examination Halls. They are instructed to

see that no invigilator or the student is having or using the cell phones during the examination.

15. The candidate is instructed to go through the particulars given in Hall Ticket such as date of birth,

reservation category, Special reservation category etc. If any candidate approaches either the Chief Superintendent or the Departmental Officer with a request to effect change in particulars (except group),

then the Chief Superintendent can effect such change in Marked copy of Nominal Roll and take a request letter from the candidate. The Chief Superintendent is requested to forward all such request letters to

the Convenor in a separate sealed cover.

16. The candidates can be allowed to take away their Question Paper Booklets after the completion of the

exam. The Question Paper Key will be published in a week from the date of conduct of Entrance Test. The students are advised to visit www.apresidential.gov.in for key.

17. The OMR answer sheet is having pre printed variable data with bar code. Hence it is very Specific

and identifiable, non-transferable and should be given to the particular candidates only. It is preprinted

with candidate’s photo and other particulars. If any damage is noticed to the bar code or OMR

Answer sheet, the Blank OMR should be used invariable and such usage details should be given in a

separate proforma given for that purpose.

18. The candidate whose OMR answer sheet is damaged has to fill his particulars such as Name, Fathers’ name, Hall Ticket Number, group, date of birth and reservation particulars etc. on

Blank OMR Answer Sheet

19. The Dept. Officer is instructed to assist the Chief. Supdt. in the preparation of the Blank OMR Answer Sheet Account.

FILLING OF OMR ANSWER SHEET:

The candidate should be informed that they should use:

a) Blue/black Ball point pen to darken the relevant circle of the question paper booklet code

completely with thick dark.

b) The candidate has to put the signature in relevant box provided on side II of the OMR answer

sheet.

c) The invigilator should sign with ball point pen in the box provided on side II of OMR answer sheet.

This has to be done only after thorough verification of all the entries made by the candidate in

the OMR Answer sheet and found correct in all respects.

d) Answers to the questions from 1 to 150 should be marked by fully shading the relevant circles

with Black/Blue Ball Point Pen only. Candidate should not use Pencil. If he/she uses pencil, the

answer sheet will automatically be rejected by the computer for which the candidate is solely

responsible. The partially shaded / indicated in any other manner / shaded may lead to loss of

marks as the computer may totally reject the OMR answer sheet, which may result in loss of

marks for which the candidate alone is responsible.

e) The invigilator is requested to instruct all the candidates that they should not shade more than

one circle for a single question. Even a small trace left by the pen, either voluntarily or

involuntarily in any circle other than the shaded one will lead invalidation of the answer since

the scanner will not accept the two answers which results loss of mark for that question.

f) Using the whitener/blade/eraser or any kind of tampering to change the answers on OMR answer

sheet will lead to invalidation.

20) The departmental officer is requested to instruct all the invigilators that, the candidates should write question paper booklet code in the box provided and put his/her signature in photo- attendance sheets. If the candidate is absent the invigilator has to write “ABSENT” in red ink

in photo attendance sheets. Since the photo attendance sheets are important document, utmost

care should be taken by the invigilator while the candidate made entries in photo attendance sheets

21) The candidates who are absent to the test should be marked absent in the Marked Copy of

Nominal Roll.

22) The Departmental Officer should see that the Photo Attendance Sheets are collected from all the

rooms immediately after 10.30AM.

23) The Dept. Officer should assist the Chief. Sup. in verifying the Photo Attendance Sheets and also

help to prepare the consolidated absentee statement and marked copy of Nominal Roll by

writing Present for the candidates present in Blue / Black Ink and ABSENT in RED INK for the

Absentees.

24) The Dept. Officer should randomly check hall tickets of candidates and compare their physical

features with their photo on their hall ticket to avoid any impersonation. If they notice any

difference, found any forbidden material with candidate they should be booked under ‘MAL

PRACTICE’. Their OMR answer sheets and other material are to be forwarded to the Convenor

in a separate cover meant for OMR answer sheets of MAL PRACTICE cases.

25) The OMR answer sheets are packed room wise as per the seating plan and these packets are

to be bundled again as per the Hall Ticket Serial.

26) The Dept. Officer should help the Chief Superintendent while packing of OMR answer sheets

of APRJC-CET and RDC-CET in separate sealed covers supplied by the Convenor

27) The Dept. Officer should help the Chief Superintendent in handing over the complete post

examination material to the District Educational Officer, and all the bills, vouchers and the TA& DA

bills for the amount advanced to the center are submitted to the District coordinator.

28) Dept. Officer have to submit a detailed report on the conduct of the test immediately on its

completion in a sealed cover and hand over the same to the District Educational Officer.

29) The Dept. Officer are requested to contact either the District Educational Officer or the District

Coordinator for immediate help and any clarification on the conduct of the test. If the

Departmental Officer feels there is a need and necessity to contact the Convenor for

intervention they can contact on Cell 9866559725 Ph. 040-24680415 / 24680400.

30) The Dept. Officer should be alert and watchful. As any simple fault or slackness in the conduct of

the test may attract media attention. If any lapse is noticed in the discharge of duties suitable

disciplinary action will be initiated without any further notice.
