To note the monthly statement of accounts of Cantonment Fund along with statement of arrears of revenue for the months of February, 2019. Rule 90 of the Cantonment Accounts Code, 1955 which states that: “The Executive Officer shall cause to be prepared a monthly statement of receipts and expenditures of the Cantonment Fund and place it along with statement of arrears of revenue before the Board for information”

LAND BRANCH

ITEM No.2 APPROVAL / CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES OF BUILDING COMMITTEE.

Reference/Authority: Section 181 of the Cantonments Act, 1924 and CBR No. 20 dated 21-02-2019.

To consider the recommendations of the Building Committee of its meeting held on 05-03-2019 for approval of following residential / commercial building plans received under section 179 of the Cantonments Act, 1924. These building plans have been checked by Engineering Branch and Land Branch and found in conformity with the sites and building bye laws. As per reports of Land Branch/Engineering Branch there is no encroachment on any land, no change of purpose is involved. The MEO has also accorded NOC from land point of view for the properties situated outside Bazar area. Detail is as under:-

Hafeez, Vice President suggested therein to authorize the CEO for publication of advertisement in newspapers in accordance with rule 12 of PPRA, 2004 on behalf of the Board being „procuring agency‟ as defined in rule 2(j) of PPRA Ordinance, 2002. The advertisements shall be given only to ABC (Audit Bureau of Circulations) certified newspapers.

It is, however, make sure that the advertisements shall be given only to ABC (Audit Bureau of Circulations) certified newspapers. This authorization also holds retrospective effect for all previous advertisements published in newspapers.
