Abstract Nowadays people are getting more concerned towards the idea of green communication. In the electronic world as digitalization is growing the need for power efficient devices are in more demand. In this work we are making a power efficient Control Unit (CU) by interfacing it with different Virtex and Spartan family Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA). This experiment is performed on Xilinx 14.1 ISE Design simulator. Dynamic power, quiescent power and total power of control unit with different FPGAs of Virtex and Spartan families is analysed on X Power analyser tool. The other chips power like clock power, signal power, input/output (I/O) power counts 0W of power in total power consumption. From the experiment it was concluded that the control unit when interfaced with Spartan 6 FPGA consumes the least amount of power and hence is regarded as the most power efficient device. Keywords: Control Unit, FPGA, Virtex, Spartan, Power.

Abstract

TSR (Traffic Sign Recognition) represents an important feature of advanced driver assistance system, contributing to the safety of the drivers, autonomous vehicles as well and to increase driving comfort. In today’s world road conditions drastically improved as compared with past decades. Obviously, vehicle’s speed increased. So, on driver’s point of view there might be chances of neglecting mandatory road signs while driving. This paper explores the system to helps the driver about recognition of road signs to avoid road accidents. TSR is challenging task, while its accuracy depends on two aspects: feature extractor and classifier. Current popular algorithms mainly deploy CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) to execute both feature extraction and classification. In this paper, we implement the traffic sign recognition by using CNN, the CNN will be trained by using the dataset of 43 different classes of traffic signs along with TensorFlow library. The results will show the 95% accuracy.

Abstract In our proposed work, we are making our RAM to behave energy efficient by reducing the overall power usage by implementing it on FPGA. LVCMOS15 and LVCMOS25 have been used to observe the power reduction , which includes clock power ,logic power, signal power, i/o power, leakage power and Total power . Power reduction of about 61.4% is seen at the capacitance of 500pF by testing the RAM on LVCMOS25 and then in LVCMOS15 . Also the leakage power is comparatively much lower at -33 degree Celsius with the capacitance load of 1000pF in LVCMOS25. The FPGA is tested on different temperatures including standard room temperature of 25 degree celsius, -33 degree and 48.9degree celsius which is environmentally extreme temperature .The results are obtained by using Xilinx ISE 14.7 simulator with verilog hardware description language.

Abstract Energy supply is a major problem in today’s world due to increase in demand,

depleting of fossil fuels and increase in global warming due to carbon emission. The need for an alternate, overall efficient and environment-friendly energy system has ascended globally. Photovoltaic (PV) systems can be used to harness solar energy that is considered to be one of the most promising alternative energy sources. However, its efficiency is affected not only by varying environmental conditions but also by the installation of its PV modules. The purpose of this paper is to empirically validate the optimum tilt for PV modules in the Highveld of South Africa. Three fixed-axis PV modules installed at optimum tilt angles of Latitude minus 10°, Latitude, and Latitude plus 10° serve as the basis of this study. These optimum tilt angles are utilised based on the recommendations by Heywood and Chinnery. A key recommendation is that PV modules should be mounted at Latitude minus 10° for the summertime period in the Highveld region of South Africa.

Keywords: PV module, LabVIEW, Latitude, Tilt angles.

Abstract The semantic web is a new revolution in the world of the web where information and data become logically manageable by computer programs so that information and data are converted into a meaningful data network, "meaning that special computer programs can know what this data means. It serves a lot of fields and in this The search deals with its use with the semantics of the language, and on the one hand the language may refer to the single letter or the word or the single composition in a context and we find the text in a meaning, then if we go to the same letter or the same word or the composition itself in a different text and we find that the meaning of the letter or word or the composition It has differed accordingly The meaning of the text is corrupted, so what is the reason for this difference if there is a difference, so this research seeks to explain how the letter, word or syntax is different according to the context, and the research will follow the descriptive analytical approach, and is expected to reach a conclusion that the text is on the three levels of the letter or The word or structure, its meaning varies depending on the context. Abstract It is difficult for the non-Arabic speaking people to read the research without controlling the words, therefore this research seeks to suggest an easy way to control the words in Arabic writing so that the reader does not mistake and change the desired meaning, because the mistakes of the people in reading and speaking are many. Abstract

Management Information System (MIS) is the use of information technology, people, and business processes to record, store and process data to produce data-driven information that helps managers to derive decisions for the organizations. The decision is consciously taken from a variety of alternatives and the consent of many is based on the goal of achieving the desired outcome. MIS can be defined as a collection of systems, hardware, procedures, and people that all work together to process, store, and produce information that is useful to the organization. It is an important system for every organization that needs to have to ensure they remain competitive in the market. However, not all MIS fulfil the requirements from stakeholders. Some have failed to do so due to several factors such as poor requirement design or improper training to the users. Therefore, in this study, the paper focus to identify the key criteria that contribute to effectiveness in developing the “fit” MIS based on previous studies. The criteria discussed in detail by hoping this find out will become major guidelines to create a good MIS. Abstract With the increasing global energy demand, clean and affordable sources of energy are being adopted over time. Road Power Generation (RPG) is thus an alternate to conventional electricity generation. RPG technologies generate electrical power from vehicles by harnessing their kinetic energy. The most common RPG technology is RPG by speed breaker mechanism. However, this paper will discuss the construction of a novel Electro-Mechanical system which can be employed on the surface of a road and thus can produce electricity of up to six kilowatts per day. A vehicle induces reciprocating linear motion into the RPG flip plates which is then converted to rotary motion via rack and pinion. This angular motion is converted to electricity via a PMDC generator which can be used to power street lights. This method of generating electricity is called RPG by flip plate mechanism or RPG by reciprocating linear motion. Abstract The concept of transferring electrical power to a load wirelessly is an intimidating and a challenging idea. The genius of powering systems wirelessly has pulled the curtains to a new world. In the 19th century, Nikola developed ‘Tesla Tower’ in hope to transfer power wirelessly. Since then, the world is trying hard to say goodbye to wires. WPT using Inductive Coupling which falls under the domain of NFWPT, uses a transmitter coil to transmit power to the receiver coil via a magnetic field. Inductive coupling is an efficient way to transmit power through short distances and making its way in smartphones and the health industry. Electric vehicle charging stations are also trending thanks to wireless power transfer. This paper discusses the theoretical foundation of Inductive coupling and also presents results of an experimental work done on WPT via Inductive Coupling. In the process above, an efficiency of 72% was achieved.

Abstract

The buck-boost converter operating in critical conduction mode (CRM) is commonly utilized in various applications because of many advantages like protection against short circuit, minimum component count, low operating duct-cycle, and low voltage on MOSFETs. However, its input power factor (PF) is not high while operating in constant on-time control. To attain unity PF for universal input voltage range, a new control scheme of variable on-time control (VOTC) is proposed in this paper. The VOTC can be implemented by modulating the turn-on time of the buck-boost switch. The working principle and performance comparison of the converter is discussed with both types of control scheme. The input PF the converter is high in case of VOTC than the COTC. Simulation results are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy).

Abstract

This research aims to demonstrate that the proposed implementation model allows the deployment of a virtualized data center based on four open-source projects (identities, virtualization, storage, and platform) integrated at a very high level. The main contribution of the model is to simplify the process of implementation of the four projects that provide independent documentation of each other. The four components meet a checklist of requirements given by the industry, such as scalability, high availability, security, and manageability. A layered architecture complements the model, each layer implements key functionalities. The result is a data center deployed with less complexity, reducing implementation time and the cost to more than 40% by not incurring licensing costs but of renewable subscriptions annually. This deployment meets the requirements of organizations in the same way as proprietary solutions do. The model allows reusing servers and other components available in the organization to implement an open architecture, in addition to proposing the use of software-based and non-hardware technologies, giving way to future more specialized investigations of these software-based components.

Abstract

In software development, sometimes experienced programmers have difficulty determining before performing their tests, which algorithm will work best to solve a particular problem, and the answer to the question will always depend on the type of problem and nature of the data to be used, in this situation, it is necessary to identify which indicator is the most useful for a specific type of problem and especially in route optimization. Currently, there are techniques and algorithms used in Artificial Intelligence, which, however, cannot display their potential without a well-defined data set. The paper seeks to explain and propose an algorithm selection indicator to build a consistent data set, given the lack of availability of data that allows the best route size decision to be made.

Abstract Ecotourism is an alternative to social-economic development, especially in places

where biodiversity is abundant, and that is why viable and sustainable alternatives must be generated for its realization. The application of a bioclimatic architecture is proposed to generate the least possible negative impact. Sustainable ecotourism principles and the use of biodegradable materials in the area that harmonize with nature will be taken into account to generate a good low impact ecotourism practice to promote the socio-economic, environmental and cultural development of the inhabitants. This proposal for a sustainable infrastructure design (ecolodge) is based on the collection of information from the people of Quichas. It uses the adobe in the construction and thermal insulation in the ceilings; it has a recreation area and uses renewable energy sources taking advantage of the climate of the area.

Abstract

This paper facilitates radiologists in diagnosis of lung tumor and provides with a probability to differentiate between the types of tumor through automated analysis and increase in accuracy. The system is aggregated model for tumor identification and 3D reconstruction of lung using (computed Tomography) CT-scan images in Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) format to identify the lung tumor (Benign or Malignant) using learning algorithm. The proposed system is capable to reconstruct the 3D model of lung tumor using CT-scan medical images and identify tumor (Benign or Malignant) including location of tumor (Attached to wall or parenchyma) with significant accuracy. The proposed diagnostic software provides significant results with bright CT scans to identify lungs tissue with different orientations by rotating it and reduces the enormous false positive rate by increasing the efficiency and accuracy of the diagnostic procedure. Whereas, CT-scan image is below required brightness or if CT-scan is done in a dark room than the module does not shows considerable results of segmentation. The proposed computer aided diagnosis can help the radiologists to detect tumor at early stage, decrease the enormous false positive rate, and the overall cost of the diagnostic procedure; thus, bringing windfall benefits in the field of medical imaging.

ABSTRACT In this paper, a solution to the problem of warehouse automation for transferring goods is discussed. To meet the demands of large scale material movement in warehouses, an automated system is proposed in lieu of a manual workforce to automate the warehouse picking process using an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV). Such a vehicle can operate in an industrial setting with minimal human intervention. The system is designed such that the robot can operate on a known ‘map’ laid out on the warehouse floor. When starting and ending coordinates are provided, it can calculate the shortest path to its destination and guide itself along the path avoiding obstacles. The system proposed is a prototype of a large-scale system and demonstrates proof of concept of the overall AGV system for warehouse management. The document is centered on developing the hardware model of automatic guide vehicle (AGV) system and group it with metal detection detector. The system performance is measured in a straight-line movement and once the robot turns at specific degrees. A metal track was built via metal strips and was then detected by the proximity sensors. This is a cheap process and an alternative to magnetic strip and infrared sensors. This process is also very robust and can withstand the demands of an industrial setting. Furthermore, control software was implemented using Robot Operating System (ROS) and interfacing for all the sensors was done using python scripts. Central processing was carried out for the data from all sensors and movement decisions were made based on the status of the sensors. Through this project, the concept of a small scale AGV produced using locally available materials, was proven. All of the objectives for this project were met successfully and the product performed according to its intended design criteria. Abstract This research paper proposes a hybrid engine (Hydrogen fuel) as an alternative to using clean energy, aimed at lower fossil fuel consumption, reducing the use of gasoline, reduce greenhouse gas emissions to the atmosphere and mitigate air pollution and global warming [1]. The analysis is based on random samples of carburetor-engine vehicles, which have a low complexity of the engine, taking the levels of CO2 and hydrocarbons as measurements, with the objective of determining the performance of the use of hydrogen in the vehicle [2]. The engines of vehicles in Lima are not prepared for this type of fuel combination, so this experimental research required the adaptation of the vehicle's operating system and the installation of a Hydro Assist Full Cell kit, that means it became a Hybrid engine (Hydrogen - Gasoline); to, finally, evaluate and examine the effects it produces on the environment and the economy [3].

Abstract In the framework of informatics, the importance of processing Arabic through computers is increasing, so that we can keep up with the riders of civilization. And since the computer was born in a language other than Arabic - it is an English-born - the computer technology and information systems have taken the English language as its basis. This English foundation imposed technical restrictions on other languages, and the greater the contrast between English and other languages, the greater the severity of these restrictions. The Arabic language and the English language from the computer point of view represent the opposite sides, hence the difficult obstacles to computerization of the computer and the language barrier has become one of the most difficult barriers for the Arab user. The Arabs have succeeded in Arabizing part of the computer at the level of the written language, but the matter of the spoken language still needs a long way to be Arabized. When a Muslim uses in his daily and periodic worship a set of words and words related to his worship, he may not consider much about the meanings of those worship, and he does not know where its linguistic origins are derived, and how the linguistic significance has shifted from that general or multiple linguistic origin to that meaning that it ended in the era Islamic; this research seeks to clarify the meanings of some of the terms related to acts of worship in Islamic law, and the origins from which they are derived. Abstract

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) ethical issues and the way Islam provides solutions to such issues with the emphasis Islam puts on acquiring and disseminating knowledge is discussed, including how the Qalam, (Pen) is gradually being replaced by computer systems in spreading knowledge. This is followed by an overview of philosophical questions concerning computer science. This research aims to correct misconceptions about the relationship of Muslims with others, and provide a practical model for coexistence through the looks of the honorable year, and the biography of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the problem of this research lies in misconceptions about the relationship of Muslims with others, internally and externally, and the importance of this research is highlighted in Correcting these concepts of the relationship of Muslims with others internally and externally, and highlighting the meaning of peaceful coexistence between Muslims and others through consideration of the honorable year, and the practical application of the honorable year, which is represented by his fragrant biography, and I have relied in this research on the inductive approach to tracking the texts of the year and events of the biography In which the manifestations of peaceful coexistence, its foundations and controls are manifested, then the analytical method in analyzing and discussing research issues, then the deductive approach to know the correct approach to the relationship of Muslims with others, and one of the most important results that we have reached is that the origin in human relations is that they are based on acquaintance, not repudiation, and on cooperation Not fighting, on peace, not on war. Abstract

Knowing our family ancestry and descendant is essential since we are the result of

generations that have transmitted lives and experiences over time; however, today, it is

also of great help in genetics, health, and safety, among other fields. The research shows

the development of a model for the genealogical linking of citizens by a descendant,

using Bayesian methods with machine learning algorithms, processing data from

structured sources of civil registries, and identification of Peru as RENIEC. The model

verifies the relationship and identity of citizens' links by determining their descent by

integrating and analyzing incomplete, incorrect, inaccurate, and irrelevant data,

achieving precision with an approximation of 95.87% of the genealogical links.

Abstract This research aimed to implement a simulator to model an LTE mobile

communication network for advanced metering infrastructure in smart power grids. It started from the need to know if LTE networks can cohabit and converge with smart electric meters, ensuring that both have their own mobility characteristics. The construction of a simulator with static nodes was designed in three stages: construction and configuration, creation of the base model and design of the advanced model of the simulator. It was evident that the TNL -110 dBm parameter configuration shows a better coverage at 87.22%, PDR performance of 99.7% and Throughput above 1200 bps. The implementation of the simulator generates greater efficiency and reliability in the provision of mobile services with smart meters from the generation stage to distribution, which transcends benefits for the electricity grid company and the final consumer.

Abstract

The educational systems all over the world face many challenges that started with the advent of the information network era (Internet) in the mid-nineties of the last century. These challenges, which came in conjunction with the information revolution and the rapid growth in the capabilities of information and communication technology, include a variety of challenges, including political, economic, social, cultural and educational. Many countries have rushed to develop plans to reform their educational systems in order to prepare learners for the requirements of life and work in the third millennium, through the optimal investment of information technology capabilities. These reforms are therefore technology-oriented and based on contemporary trends in educational thought with the aim of bringing about a fundamental shift in the components of the educational system that enables learners to master computing, communication, critical thinking, self-directed learning and self-directed learning and work in a team, which are indispensable skills for the individual in Third Millennium. The graphic paradox is a modern artistic technique, employed by the modern creator, and counted it as one of the main pillars in building his poem.

Abstract

the teacher focuses heavily on the practical part, and encourages students to perform tasks related to creating multimedia of all kinds, from taking pictures, producing visual clips, and fixed and mobile informational design while directing the student to good planning before starting any work ... and focus on making the scenario, even in a form Simple until the student reaches to achieve the goal of producing such media. There are many differences between the story in the Holy Qur’an with all its frameworks and rules that control its course through the Quranic text, and the story outside the Quranic text or the creative story whose course controls the frameworks of modern literary criticism and its theories, so this research seeks to find the differences between the story in the Qur’an text with all What it includes from the arts of storytelling, and between the story and the human creative concept in terms of methods of dealing with various topics, methods of developing solutions and the semantic effect of the recipients of the two texts. It is superior to the human story than the semantical and reformative effects of the recipient. Keywords: ICT Influence, Multimedia, Qur'anic Stories, E-Learning.

Abstract

Companies are currently looking for ways to maintain and get new customers, one of the strategies is to maintain customer loyalty to the brand, product or service, which is known as loyalty; technological advances and social media use facilitate this. The research proposes the development of a Data Mart that allows the extraction of information from different sources, stores only the required information, eliminates those data that hinder the analysis and generates key reports and indicators that provide support to the process of decision-making and to respond quickly and efficiently to customer inquiries, requests or complaints. For the research, the Ralph Kimball methodology was used, due to the focus on the functional after-sales area of the company, dividing the life cycle by stages, where each stages was evaluated and corrected promptly from planning to maintenance and growth of the Data Warehouse. As a result, it was possible to improve the obtaining of useful information for the business area by selecting the critical value data using an OLAP data model.

Abstract

The climate is an essential factor in the sustainable and economic development of a country; its study helps to classify the different types of environments to better plan economic and productive activities. The objective of this study is to analyze the information of precipitation in Pedregal Ravine between the years 1980 and 2017 and to determine its behavior and temporal variability. Between January and March 2017, heavy rains occurred on the northern and central coast of Peru, which caused flooding and debris flow that affected the departments of Tumbes, Piura, Lambayeque, La Libertad, and Lima. This event has been described in Peru as "Coastal Child," and according to INDECI reports, it caused the death of 100 people. There are no precipitation stations in Pedregal Ravine, but the Chosica and Santa Eulalia stations were used as a reference, which is located 3 km from the study zone. The Matucana and Carampoma stations located in the upper part were also analyzed in order to better understand the spatial behavior of precipitation in the entire basin. Two statistical tests have been used to detect changes in the precipitation time series: Mann Kendall and Student’s T. The results of these tests indicate that there is a change in the behavior of precipitation in Pedregal Ravine between the period of 1980 and 2017; this change is a tendency to increase rainfall.

ABSTRACT The concept of reversible logic depends on the dominant modules of a processor that have been motivated to obtain the performance analysis of the quantum based processors. In continuation to this discussion, the shift register can be studied with the use of the reversible logic which is capable of shifting the bits of the information towards both sides i.e. left and right. In this process of the analysis of the quantum processor, the Quantum Computational Automata (QCA) as well as Verilog, software has been used so as to simulate the parameters of the device and then obtain the characteristics of the device. In this discussion, a reversible logical computing based approach has been mentioned that can be used in the ALU of a quantum processor with the help of D-type FFs or its combination that act as an inevitable and the most crucial basic building block in the design of quantum processors. This circuit has been designed and analyzed for the most dominant parameters, say, size of cell, number of cells used, delay, temperature dependency, power dissipation, etc. This proposed circuit which acts as an alternative to the CMOS technology, has been analyzed for a typical range of the power dissipation (650 – 750 meV), temperature range (1ºK – 10ºK). ABSTRACT Robust and accurate adhesion level identification is crucial for proper operation of railway vehicle. It is necessary for braking and traction forces characterization, development of maintenance strategies, wheel-rail wear predictions and development of robust onboard health monitoring systems. Adhesion being the function of many uncertain parameters is difficult to model, whereas data driven algorithms such as Deep Neural networks (DNNs) are very good at mapping a nonlinear function from cause to effect. In this research a solid axle Wheel-set was modeled along with different adhesion conditions and a dataset was prepared for the training of DNNs in Python. Furthermore, it explored the potential of DNNs and various data driven algorithms on our noisy sequential dataset for classification task and achieved 91% accuracy in identification of adhesion condition with our final model. Abstract

Solid and hazardous waste cannot be solved simply by burying them in the ground.

Confining hazardous waste, far from being a solution, is a way of postponing the

problem. The waste minimization, which reduces the amount and pollution load of

waste, generates by-products. The objective of this study was to evaluate the quality

of the soil of a converted agricultural land from vacant land, located in the Villa El

Salvador district in Metropolitan Lima. The benefits of reducing the environmental

impact on food security and climate change, the result obtain the content of organic

matter in the study soil of 1.31%, its equivalent in organic carbon is obtained by

dividing by the factor 1.724, resulting in 0.76%.

Abstract This article proposes a new type of planar microstrip multi-resonator called “truncated C shape” which can replace the existing planar rectangular type resonator for UWB RFID chipless tag application that employs the transmission line method. It is found that with the new resonator, 9 bit can be imposed while replacing the existing planar rectangular resonator that gives only 1 bit in terms of the occupied area. Two bits of the rectangular resonator have been replaced that produced an ‘18 bit’ new proposed tag. Two different coded 18 bit tags has been designed and developed that works between 5-8.5 GHz. Good agreement is found between simulation and measurement. The codes of “111111111111111111” and “110011111111111111” have been successfully retrieved from different tags to illustrate the proof of concept. This result would motivate the researchers to develop higher bit density UWB passive RFID tags with relatively smaller size for item tagging and also sensing applications. Abstract

eGovernance is a vital component of any nations’ modern governmental structure and suitable for mass-scale adaptation. Pakistan has also established an eGovernance council for mitigation of the problems of the common man. One big step in this direction is the establishment of Pakistan Citizens’ Portal (PCP) that facilitates eGovernance. Through the PCP app, citizens can directly lodge complaints and report their issues for immediate resolution. This study looks at the important aspect of mobile usability through field tests to determine the viability of the PCP app in Pakistan. This study is vital towards determining the main factors for large scale adaptation of the PCP app and underlines the weaknesses of the present system. Hence, the PCP app was evaluated in terms of efficiency and effectiveness according to ISO 92421-11. And the user satisfaction was measured through system usability satisfaction (SUS) on five-point likert scale. The evaluation method included more than a dozen citizens of Sindh and findings showed that overall application enriched the user experience. However, the few areas of PCP were identified as needing improvements. The main areas that the PCP application needs to improve are the areas of registration and ‘findability’ which would further improve user satisfaction and experience.

ABSTRACT

The wheel-track interface is the most significant part in the railway dynamics because the

forces produced at wheel-track interface governs the dynamic behavior of entire vehicle.

This contact force is complex and highly non-linear function of creep and affected with

other railway vehicle parameters. The real knowledge of creep force is necessary for reliable

and safe railway vehicle operation. This paper proposed model-based estimation technique

to estimate non-linear wheelset dynamics. In this paper, non-linear railway wheelset is

modeled and estimated using Extended Kalman Filter (EKF). Both wheelset model and

EKF are developed and simulated in Simulink/MATLAB.

Abstract

Job dissatisfaction challenge among nurses has a remarkable impact on patient safety and quality of any healthcare system. The study examines the negative effect of workplace incivility on job satisfaction among nurses through the mediation of emotional exhaustion and helps understand the moderating role of resonant leadership between emotional exhaustion and job satisfaction. The study adopts a cross-sectional self-administered survey design to collect 129 responses of registered nurses based on a stratified random sampling technique in Pakistan. Smart-PLS analyzed data revealed the statistically direct insignificant effect of workplace incivility and significant indirect effect on job satisfaction through emotional exhaustion. The results affirmed the emotional exhaustion mediation where resonant leadership had a significant positive moderating role that buffered the negative effect of emotional exhaustion on job satisfaction. Though potentially useful for HR managers, this study is exposed to sample and generalizability limitations. Therefore, opens consideration for solutions in further explorations. Keywords: Resonant Leadership; Workplace incivility; Emotional exhaustion; Job Satisfaction.
