EQUAL: APPLICATION FORM EQUAL: A Short Film Competition Brought to You By Procam and The Farm Group to Celebrate International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month of March Procam, Europe’s largest digital cinematography hire facility, is partnering with multi-award winning post-production house The Farm Group, to launch a short film competition for female filmmakers to celebrate International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month. The campaign theme for this year’s International Women’s Day is #EachforEqual, to promote and build a gender equal world. Within the film and television industry we continuously see gender inequality, despite efforts from campaign groups to fight this. The 2020 Oscars saw an all-male shortlist for Best Director, and in the 90+ year history of the Academy Awards, only five female filmmakers have ever been nominated in the category. In support of women in the film and television industry, we would like to invite female filmmakers to pitch a short film of no more than 7 minutes surrounding the theme EQUAL, as a nod to this year's campaign. Applicants can be as creative as they like with the theme, and the short should be produced using a well-balanced team with the aim to have an equal amount of male and female crew on the production. EQUAL: A Short Film Competition Brought to You By Procam and The Farm Group to Celebrate International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month of March

Procam, Europe’s largest digital cinematography hire facility, is partnering with multi-award

winning post-production house The Farm Group, to launch a short film competition for female

filmmakers to celebrate International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month.

The campaign theme for this year’s International Women’s Day is #EachforEqual, to promote

In support of women in the film and television industry, we would like to invite female filmmakers

to pitch a short film of no more than 7 minutes surrounding the theme EQUAL, as a nod to this

year's campaign. Applicants can be as creative as they like with the theme, and the short should

be produced using a well-balanced team with the aim to have an equal amount of male and

female crew on the production.
